pod2g has just tweeted that the release of the iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch is almost ready and the release is just 'a matter of days' away.

Thanks to awesome work of @planetbeing and @pimskeks, we're near ready for a release. Now it's a matter of days.
As reported earlier, pod2g's has tested and confirmed that his untethered jailbreak works on the following iOS devices:

Need to get working on that Apple TV 3 jailbreak. Second hand ATV2's are going for up to £250 on ebay due to greed and a lack of an ATV3 jailbreak.

Just go into iTunes or on to software update seattle settings of your device and update to 5.1.1 an then just wait for the jailbreak to be released

Question: I have a iPhone 4 already running a tethered jailbreak on 5.1.1 using redsn0w. When this untethered jailbreak releases how do I switch over? Do I just jailbreak over the existing tethered jailbreak? Or do I have to unjailbreak my phone first then apply this new one?

First u confirm that u have sucessfully jailbroken it, then you "sources" say u will be done in 2 weeks, then you say that we have to wait another 2 weeks, then you tell us to wait another week for the goddamn nerd-hacking-meeting 21th may, where "something big will happen". But nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, we have to wait even more. This time it's only a "matter of days". I bettu, ur so tight, that your probably gonna stall even minutes and nanoseconds if you had the possibility to do so.Screw your jailbreak, and screw you! I don't want it anymore. U have lost all of your credibility!
