the iPad 3 Global is the GSM LTE version. The AT&T version here in the US, or whatever GSM provider you have worldwide. The WiFi version in the UK is no different than the WiFI US version and will be supported. The GSM LTE version will likely also be supported, but hasnt been tested yet.

Hello! I did not fully understand You...I have iPad 3 UNLOCKED that means it works with any provider's SIM card... So is the current 5.1.1 untethered supported as well ?

thank you so much guys...i had a 5.0.1 untether...but some problem made my ipod 4g get stuck on the apple logo! I had to forcefully upgrade...thank you so much! :D

Yes I can't wait for it to come out... the thing is though I want to know the exact day it comes out so i can update the night before the jailbreak comes out, jailbreak the next morning, and be set to take my phone to school!
