Dev Team Will Also Release Redsn0w And CLI Tool That Will Support iOS 5.1.1 Untethered Jailbreak
The demo video of Absinthe 2.0 - untethered jailbreak for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch running on iOS 5.1.1 that was briefly available, provided some interesting details of what to expect.
MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev team has just provided some more information about the iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak.

Can't understand how you can justify piracy for that reason? Do we steal in the physical world because we can't afford something? How is this different in the digital world? People are buying apps at those prices, which is the reason it is available for that amount. If people didn't then the developers would have slashed prices. Sorry, it's just wrong to rob developers of their hard earned money. It also ends up giving jailbreaking a bad name.

Don't pirate??Yea right!!That's one of the main reasons i jailbreak. I even pirate cydia apps.

So because of Googles navigation is free on Android it means that you shouldn't have to pay for apps like TomTom or Navigon?

Is it still bad of I pirate the app but pay for the real one if I like it? I'm sorry, but I'm not dropping $10+ on an app unless I know for sure that I'll use it and enjoy it.

Wow... You took and are using something without first paying for it... the fact that its 'still there' means nothing. Quit coming up with excuses and stop pirating apps. You paid at least $200 for whatever device you have and you cant afford a 99cent app every now and then. Why even have it to begin with?

And comments like yours is pushing the availability of being able to JB further away. Apple is very very rich if you hadn't noticed, I wonder how much data they have logged from your phone on your illegal activities. I would think every iphone activity is ultimately traceable, and in the end if they want to get dirty with everyone they can afford it. Sooner or later all the law suits taking their time and money at the moment will eventually sort themselves out, then who do they start chasing?

dont worry I always buy apps, I do the jailbreak just becasue of the themes, and tweaks. CANT WAIT FOR THE JAILBREAK, I will donate, Please realese it soon!!

I like to try before I buy... I delete more then I buy cause a lot of the apps are not very good. They should give a 30 day trial on apps but then they would lose lots of money so that won't happen

No. Unlock will follow when/ if it becomes available in the future

...but if your device is already unlocked you can upgrade but will have to use redsn0w and not absinthe to preserve your baseband

Anyone ever did a survey on JB phone that uses pirated app store apps? I would think that is the primary reason for people to jailbreak. It may give a bad name to JB, but you know, it is the undeniable truth.
