Chronic Dev team has just released an updated version of Absinthe to add support for the iPad2,4 model.

Chronic Dev team had released Absinthe 2.0 - iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users on Friday, but it did not include support for iPad2,4 model (the $399 iPad 2, which comes with a tweaked A5 chip or iPad Wi-Fi R2 model) and Apple TV 3.

Actually we're not sure what was fixed in Absinthe 2.0.3, but it is possible that the jailbreak team added support for Windows Vista, which was one of the changes that we observed.

I have jail broken my I pad 3 and 4s with the first absinthe on 5.1.1 and my music won't play dose any one else have this problem

Just RESTORE the iPhone on iTunes, then when its over choose the option Configure as NEW PHONE on the iPhone, then when its finish, connect to iTunes to restore the backup you did before, then after all this connect to PC and run Absynth.That will solve the problem. Download the latest absynth posted here

Before using absinthe, did you go into settings/general/reset and chose erase all data and settings? If not, try it after doing a restore. Then run absinthe.

So many people having trouble with the jailbreak. Please read the READ ME document that comes with the download. I followed every step and jailbroke mine first time like a lot of people who do this regularly. Always follow what these guys say or you end up with a very expensive iPod instead of a phone

Tried this on an iPad 1 and iPhone 4s. Both devices stuck at the spinner for hours. Left the ipad on most of the day and overnight and it stayed on the spinner. I held both buttons to reset the devices. On the 4s it went into recovery mode and I restored the 5.1.1 firmware (it was on 5.01). On the ipad when it restarted everything was the same. I just did the update via iTunes then ran Absinthe. all is working fine.So, erase all didn't work on either device, but jailbreak DID work on both.

Hi all, I am having problems with all my idevices when using Quickflix after JB. Getting "DRM Provisioning Error". If I restore back to normal then it works fine so something in the jailbreak causes this problem. BTW, Quickflix is similar to Netflix in NZ and OZ. Do the jailbreak team have a bug reporting link anywhere? Cheers

Read the instructions did you?You must make sure you have updated and backed up your device before using Absinthe, it will not work otherwise, so that was your problem.

JB my 4S and my Bluetooth went mental and wireless headphones sounded "tinny". Anyone else having Bluetooth issues on JB devices? PS JB on ATV3 would be greatly appreciated
