Dear Team ,
I bought new Iphone 3G 16 GB from my friend in Japan .He bought that phone in August 2008 .This is for first time I am using it but I am not able to do anything on it .I dont know exactly what is jailbreak and unlock .I bought this as I will bring this phone to my country along with me to use there. When ever i switch on it says "Enter Sim card and connect to itune " i tried to connect with itune and inserted new SIM card in Japan but its not working :( .I can not use even as iPod .So please please help me .

I am trying to unlock an iphone 3g to work with t-mobile, but I cant get past the screen where it tells you to plug in the usb to set up itunes. And if I put in my sim card it says its not supported can any one help me?

Okay, so I just unlocked my phone. Getting the whole "network cannot be found" error. Its a bell card, rogers phone. Everything else worked fine. Its firmware 4.2.1 and 6.15 but I can't get it to work. PLEASE HELP!
