Yeah sold my 3gs for 450 dollars guys... and im in Canada and rogers is pretty much the same! all you have to do is keep calling saying the rep was rude blah blah, pull some **** theyll wave a lot of fee's and bam iphone for cheap

My money is on that AT&T is doing this to keep their customers from migrating over to Verizon when they get the iPhone later this year. Yes I know there is no official announcement about Verizon but Jobs did dodge the question during the WWDC. If I was AT&T CEO that's what I would do.

and say that if you don t give me
the Iphone4 for 199 you gonna
unlock my old iPhone and I m switching
to t mobile.and I want every body do that
and watch what gonna happen. -
If you look at all the pictures of the new iphone, there is no carrier listed, it simply shows the signal strength bars and either wifi or 3g. i think this is a sign verizon is taking over

I just got my 3gs last year in August and it states I'm eligible for 18 dollar upgrade not even a year into the 2 yr contract.

F*%k at&t. You want to charge me more and then lock me in on another contract, how about adjusting my contract so I don't have a three year contract jack asses. Can't wait for verizon to get the iphone.

you have to think outside the box. this is one country out of 80 some odd countries that are going to get the iphone4. verizon is outdated cdma tech. why go cdma when 98 percent of the world is on gsm......

Philwinter you are sadly mistaken. I got my 3gs around the same time last year and I spoke to at&t and they stated I a get the iphone 4 at a higher rate not as a new customer and everyone pays the $18 upgrade fee.

I got family members eligible so I can purchase the iphone 4 for them then I can switch my 3gs without extending my contract. So At&t eat your heart out suckas!! then when my contract is up and other carriers get the iphone at&t can kiss my ass.
