Ok so maybe someone can help me here. I've jailbroken my phone many times before by downloading the firmware etc. However when I download the file this time instead of showing the firmware in a cube like icon square it seems to be in another format. I think someone on my PC changed the program around that it is supposed to run on. I hope someone knows how to change the file format to work with iTunes again. Any help please and thanks in advance!

This might be silly question. But i received my i4 tdy. But my question is, can i just jb it. I dont need the unlock. Please let me know IP.Hacks or someone. Cause i really dont want to start using it until i can actually jb it.

mine is a 3G jailbroke with blackrain on 3.1.2 then up graded to 3.1.3 and jailbroke with spirit. I now already upgraded to ios4 and restored to manufacture setting. does it mean i'm ok to jailbreak mine with snowbreeze when it comes out or i have to wait for spirit?

right click on the file-change name and just change the format to .ipsw

i jailbroke my 3G using redsnow 9.5.B5-3, it's working fine with multitasking and folders, camera zoom all ok as far as i can see

If my phone was jailbroken by Spirit in the pass, but now I have already restored it back to factory setting ios 4, will I be able to jailbreak it?

I'm not too worried about it not working. I heard GeoHot is working on something big anyways. Probably another simpler jailbreak tool.

I did the jailbreak to 4.0 and everything works great, except I cannot sync my apps (jailbroken apps) or music for some reason. Any suggestions?

Your best bet is App Backup. I use it faithfully. Question, do u have the new iPhone or 3g/3gs. I am assuming I can use the redsn0w beta, im jus nervous. Yet anxious O_o Gonna try anyway.... but jus want I guess re-assurance.

HERE IS HOW I JAILBROKE AND UNLOCKED MY 3G WITH 4.O
I UPGRADED TO 4.0 THROUGH ITUNES, THEN DOWNLOADED redsn0w 0.9.5b5-2, AND I DOWNLOADED ANOTHE COPY OF iPhone1,2_4.0_8A293_Restore BECAUSE redsn0w WOULDN'T TAKE THE COPY THAT ITUNES DOWNLOADED. JUST WENT THROUGH THE PROCESS AND FOLLOWED THE STEPS, AND WHITHIN MINUTES I HAD A JAILBROKEN 3G RUNNING 4.0 WITH WALLPAPERS AND MULTYTASKING. AFTER THAT I DOWNLOADED ultrasn0w THROUGH CYDIA AND UNLOCKED MY IPHONE 3G!!!!

U USED WINRAR TO EXTRACT IT. IF IT DOESN'T WORK, TRY DOWNLOADING IT AGAIN, OR FROM ANOTHER SITE. iT WORKED PERFECT FOR ME, THE ONLY ISSUE WAS THAT IT WOULDN'T ACCEPT THE IOS 4 DOWNLOADED BY ITUNES, SO I HAD TO DOWNLOAD IT FROM A RANDOM SITE WHICH I DONT REMEMBER, BUT JUST GOOGLE: iPhone1,2_4.0_8A293_Restore

I used redsn0w_win_0.9.5b5-3. Restored my iphone 3g with iTunes, used the official 4.0 firmware downloaded from apple, jailbroke, ran Cydia, unlocked with multitasking, and custom wallpaper. I will admit though, phone does run a little slow trying to multitask
