I've had the iPhone 4 since day 1 and I've had no such problem.
I am claiming this with or without the case.

Hahaha, most of you peeps are tripping, handle your business, make a decision and quit bitching. I love my iPhone 4 and don't have any major issues with reception. I'm very pleased and hope there's no recall! I did have a problem with my bars going from full to none every minute, so I just restored it as a new phone and now it's running great! Peace out squabblers!

I am not a radio engineer, but if the same test was done with 3GS and other AT&T phone; and they perform better than iPhone 4, wouldnt that still a good BASELINE indicator that iPhone 4 has an issue? I do not see the point of this engineer. This is a controled test by putting all phones on the same condition and monitoring their performance.
