OK.... I just wrote the previous message for help.
I am still trying to restart my iphone but continue to get only the apple icon in the middle of the screen.
The apple icon has been on for over an hour now and the phone feels quite hot the touch...
Could I have just totally fucked my phone up... woopsy.
I am using itunes 10.

OK... Now iTunes is telling me that in order to restore my iphone i have to update it to the latest version on iphone software which would then not allow me to jail break my phone!!!
arrrrgggghhhh!!!! any hints from computer wiz's out there!?

Thanks Mate! But I am just worried that in doing this itunes is going to want to update my iphone to a newer version which will then not allow me to jailbreak the phone... sorta like im damned if i do and damned if i dont!
