Thats why the dumb ass should have bought a case. Why not spend 50 dollars to protect your $400 phone? This guy is just an idiot and should be counter-sued by apple for being a waste of space.

hm. I bought a screen protector, back and forth, as well as an otterbox defender, known as the most protective of all cases, slipped out of my hand as I was getting it out of my pocket, maybe 2.5 feet off the ground, and shattered the back entirely. sometimes even so that doesn't work.

Mine slipped out of my shirt pocket when I was picking up a ceramic floor tile. It hit the tile and shattered. That is about an 18" drop.
