WORKS !!!!!! (after second trial)iphone 4 32G , was jailbroken already , but haven't turned it off since the previous JB .. now I can :) .. all works , including cydiathe 1st time got sucked on greenp0ison initialized (on phone screen) , so I turned off the phone , turned on again in DFU , retried the JB , and this time all worked great .LOOOOVE the Apple - skulc animation :D THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

dudes!!! on the last step continue to hold the home button down, never let off of it untill you see the greenpoison logo come up. yall are letting go of the home button too early.i dont seem to have anything in the loader folder. any help there?

First jailbreak for my IP4 OS4.2.1.Got a "complete" message after JBing but no Cydia.Did I do something wrong? I tried restarting but still nothing.Feels and looks as if I did nothing with my phone :/

for those who got nothing in loader.. just rejailbreak it with Redsn0w 0.9.7b6 and click only Install cydia.. then you will have an untethered 4.2.1. it happens to me, i found nothing in loader.. so then i decide to jailbreak it with redsnow.. after done, normally u will see a black cydia or crash cydia. but this time the cydia is working. so then i decide to restart the phone. after restart, the cydia didnt crashed. so thats how i realise how to solve the problem..

Hold Home button for a long time (minutes) it will take some time to pass first cycle, HOLD HOME until device turns off. Loader will most likely fail to install Cydia even if it shows up and download process starts, instead use redsn0w tethered jailbreak to install Cydia. Perfectly working on iPad.

hey my loader wouldnt display cydia so i jus ran redsnow and installed cydia and it worked

i got the jailbreak but theres no cydia in the loader so i downloaed redsn0w so how do you use redsn0w to install cydia thanks

OK :1) I was on JB 4.12) Run GPThat works but gives the usual cant find this that etc errors.3) Loader does not install cydia.4) Re-break with redsnow Install cydia only.Reboot deviceSimples , working 4.2.1 un-teathered , with working cydia.Thanks guys. YOU ROCK :)

What a piece of ****...Can´t get the iPad into DFU-mode. it only restarts and tells me to connect to iTunes. I´ve tried with the iPad when it wasn´t restored and then I restored it, and it still doesn´t work. It only restarts and won´t get into DFU - or at least the step where the screen should show the greenpois0n logo doesn´t appear.Two tumbs down.Yeah, I´m using a iPad Wifi 32 gb.

Keep the home button down until greenpoisoin logo shows on screen ,ignore the errors , then install cydia via redsnow.

like Monte said, holding the home button much longer made the gp work flawlessly. :) and my loader seems to be downloading cydia fine...well after my fourth try lol
