It keeps telling me to try again over and over. I know for a fact it is in DFU mode, but it keeps saying try again. I am using iphone 3g on 4.2.1Using windows 7.Or does this not work on the 3g?

I tried this and it seemed to go fine, but when the text was scrolling on my iphone screen, it just froze and didnt change for like an hour!

Works like a charm.. Restore wasn't require.. It did take time more than usual.Previously i had already used redsn0w tethered. So, i didn't require to use loader thing to install cydia. It was preinstalled with package.. Thanks a lot chronic team...

I'm getting the same issue with my 3GS. Updated the phone on Friday to the most recent firmware. Even tried it on two separate PCs(XP and Vista). Yet I still get "Try Again" each time. I've "Tried Again" about 7 or 8 times. Any help out there? Thanks.

I can confirm it does work on iPod Touch 2G MC Model and it does work on both MC and MB. The only problem I had was that after the jailbreak for the first time it rebooted twice with the now very annoying greenposion logo instead of the apple.

iphonehacks please change the artical, the readme that comes with the download says it supports all ipt 2G models and I have just done it myself no problems.

Same here.Have an iphone 3g, updated to 4.2.1. Run GP and it keeps telling me to try again. Even tried putting it into DFU first but still doesn't like it.Maybe needs an update for 3G?Worked fine on iPad 4.2.1.

Cydia seems to have problems, to many ppl are jailbreaking there idevices now :DBetter wait a bit for Cydia repo's and updates :)

I was having the same issue as JOE where ir would stop at IOSDIOController:: enumerateSlot(): Searching for SDIO device in slot: 0....if you are using windows 7, set the compatibility to Windows XP sp3 and run as administrator...that fixed it for me.
