Redsn0w 0.9.6rc9 And PwnageTool 4.3: Untethered iOS 4.3.1 Jailbreak For iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch And Apple TV 2G Released
As expected, iPhone Dev Team has just released Redsn0w 0.9.6rc9 for Mac and Windows and PwnageTool 4.3 for Mac to jailbreak iOS 4.3.1 for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G, iPad 1 and Apple TV 2G users.
iPhone Dev team has used the untethered iOS 4.3.1 jailbreak developed by iPhone hacking expert Stefan Esser.

i think this doesnt give option to install multitouch gestures...:( does anyone know how to do it any tutorial link would be great thanks..i know snowbreeze did give option with their 4.3 thetered jailbreak...i was hoping dev team integrated this with redsnow

iPhone4 4.3.1 jb w/sn0wbreeze - redsn0w wouldn't work. Used pwnage tool in Snow Leopard virtual machine to create custom .ipsw. Back on windows7 I had to put the iphone in pwnd dfu mode using iReb to get iTunes to do the restore. Then restore went smoothly.

I was using Vista and do the same that hang in uploading, then switch to XP and JB successed, try to use XP.

yep. newer iphone 3gs baseband is hanging on ramdisk upload on redsn0w no matter what I try.

Left it running on ramdisk for a while, just restarted Iphone 4, and it is not jailbroken at all it appears, or atleast cydia is not installed. Was still frozen on ramdisk even after restart.

I can't seem to do it. I open redsn0w and it asks to browse for a .ipsw but i dont seem to have this file. Can anyone help me out here?

Ramdisk upload freeze - Run redsn0w in XP compatibility SP3 and as administrator. That got me through the ramdisk upload stall.

TY Ohgodagain, worked perfect. Jailbreak has some cool scenese on IPhone hah. Yea for those stuck on ramdisk:1. Right click on redsnow.exe2. Properties3. Compatibility Tab4. Click run this program in XP service pack 35. Run Redsnow as administrator6. Go through the steps7. JAILBROKE!

Followed the process as usual for Redsnow, But This one seems to be hanging at the Uploading Ramdisk. Stuck at 3 bars. Any ideas? Running Iphone 4, Stock 4.3.1 before, 4.10.01 BB, I dont need Ultrasnow Unlock.. Can anyone help?

OK... Followed @Hmmm Directions. Before i began I did a "reset iphone or wipe" to start with a fresh iphone. Then Right click and run as administrator. Then followed @Hmmm directions and perfect. Restoring from my old backup now so that I can have everything i had before but with an untethered jb this time. thumbs up Dev Team. Viva la revolucion!
