How is it that everyone is doing this so easy.the location C:\Users\-User-\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates doesnt exist on my laptop.Is there a tutorial out anywhere?

Jailbreaking works fine. Noticed when I boot up its a bit slow and I try to run Cydia and it just closes as soon as I try to open it. Anyone else having this problem?

Ahh Silly just needed to de select activate as iTunes activated it just fine Back on 02 Now, Ipad Done and working on Voda just downloading new firmware for aTV2 and awaiting iPad 2 JB ;-)Sweet.

So, yeah. I have new bootrom 3Gs and I have 4.1 JB now. I don't know how to use Redsnow. So what do I have to do with the .ipsw? I don't know where to find it. And what is the ramdisk? I can't install SP3 either? Help!

I managed to update and JB 4.3.1 successfully and keep my baseband using fixrecovery but I'm having reception issues. Ive got one bar where I normally have 5. I hope its not a redsn0w issue!

Finding the .ipsw is explained a few comments up. You don't need to install sp3, just right click on redsn0w and click compatibility mode, then run in sp3.
