same thing happened to me...also Cydia icon was missing and Cydia apps weren't initially installing. After a few reboots, everything was working fine.

No problems here yet. I did mine. 3GS 16 gig older boot rom. Just a FYI for people running my boot rom. Done with Redsn0w.

For those who are new to this (like me), should you be stuck in the ramdisk window and Downloading jailbreak data (iphone) for a long time, which for me was 10 mins, run the redsnow program in XP mode. after i've done that, the whole process was done in less than 1 min. Gluck

for those having an issue with the crashes while jailbreaking .try to jailbraek from ANOTHER comp and see if it works. I have crashed when it uploading radisk. changed to laptop and it works perfectly.

backup first ur iphone both paid and cracked apps thru itunes. while use pkgbackup frm cydia to back up cydia apps. after jailbreaking, restore thru itunes and pkgbackup..

Gee, you are a ****, If you don't like it then Just stop being a tight ass and buy a factory unlocked phone, otherwise figure it out for yourself. If is happens it happens if not then oh well? i'm happy as are most here are for the generosity of these guys to bring out the jailbreak I don't care for the unlock as all mine are all factory unlocked.

when i open cydia and try to search for something it just flickers the screen and it makes me reboot it... any ideas on how to fix this?

jb ok but some of issues with cydia1. only white shaded icon for cydia on home screen(not the usual brown one)2. in cydia store -> select app -> no further information about app appears3. search button selected -> screen flickers, apple logo with progress bar appears update issue 1 and 3 disappeared after 3-4 reboots

I have updated my iphone 4 with version 4.3.1 from itunes. I dont know were is (iPhone 4 users: iPhone3,1_4.3.1_8G4_Restore.ipsw,) is located as the update was done directly from itunes. I was not able to browse this file using "Redsn0w". Pls guide me how to browse .ipsw if i have updated 4.3.1 from itunes.

Hi, i have just jailbreak my iphone 3gs firmware 4.3.1 using redsn0w. But after awhile my iphone couldn't search for my cellular network. It just show "No Service". Anyone knows of any solution? Pls help. Thanks.

jailbroken iphone 3g's with redsnow & found one single issue with the link to download iphone 4.3.1 firmware (.psw file). had to look up for the ipsw file myself within iTunes software updated downloads,everything looks good.ta'marc

I have found the solution to my problem with ram disk freezing. Credit goes to a post on youtube (Caribez) I have an iphone 4 updated to 4.3.2 and restore using current redsnow 14. I'm running windows xp service pack 3. may work on 2 not sure or even below. Double click the redsnow exe to get it started, then hit control, alt, delete, go to task manager find redsnow exe under processes tab. right click it. Select affinity make sure the only thing checked off is cpu 1, mine had cpu 0 checked. I unchecked it exited then browse for the 4.3.2 firmware then go through the process. When it go to the hold buttons process on the last where you hold home for 15. I held it all the way till i saw random words scrolling through my iphone. Hope this helps! Good Luck.

I can't open my cydia. Once i click on the app (no icon for the app) it turns black then returns me to my home screen. I've also rebooted my device over 5times. HELP!!!
