I completed the step by step jailbreak process, however after the reboot of my ipod touch, it goes to a screen where it shows usb --> itunes. Do I just wait? or what am I supposed to do?And when i open my itunes it prompts me restore my ipod again.Please help!!

I cant even get past step5.. Holding shift and hitting 'restore from back up'(dont get a 'restore' option) goes straight into an actual restore? I didn't get an option to browse to the 'downloaded iOS 4.3.3 firmware file'what did i miss?

From what it sounds you most likely downloaded the wrong file... You mogh want to double check you got the right fipe for the right iPod... What generation is your iPod?

does it change your start up apple to anything cuz greenpoison does and im 12 and am not supposed to jailbreak it so it cant be noticeable

I'm having the same problem where I eventually need to restore the iPod. I've tried it twice now. I followed the instructions as closely as I could but I got a bunch of error messages. After saying "Please Wait" about 50 times, here are some of the messages I got:"[FTL:MSG] FTL_Open [OK]", "Mounting rootfs as read-only", and probably most importantly "Error, no successful firmware download after 6000 ms!! Giving up..."After that, it didn't do anything for a few minutes and then it went into recovery mode. Please let me know what I did wrong and how I can do it right. Thank you.

I get past step 5. but on 6, i open the redsn0w folder and i just get more and more empty folders. iPod3,1_4.3.3_8J2_Restore.ipsw never appears anywhere. help me out.
