AT&T To Throttle Top 5% Of Unlimited Data Plan Customers From October 1st
Last year just before Apple launched iPhone 4, AT&T killed its unlimited data plans and started offering tiered data plans to new iPhone users.
However, existing iPhone users with unlimited data plans at that time were allowed to retain their unlimited data plans even through device upgrades. But we’ve some bad news for these iPhone users who were enjoying their unlimited data plans.

No Surprise There!!!

At&t little by little trying to kill unlimited data plan.. which is not so cool... when it comes to pay they will make you to pay.. but when it comes to their service.. they don't care about what costumer feels.. AT&T SUCKS !!!
-
Fucking **** heads. I guess Sprint is the only best option now
-
If you fall into the top 5%.... I have 3 words to say... GET A LIFE!
-
I AGREE WITH AT&T!!! if u still want to be provided with the fastest mobile broadband available, than at&t has to use at least some restrictions so they can keep up with the high demand
-
I agree with Brandon.
-
-
Oh ****, those bastards throttled my web access.
-
said the idiot
-
I listen to Dan Patrick and Jim Rome via iheart radio while working. 6 hours a day M-F. I have a life but I'll probably fall into the top 5%. They shouldn't messed with my sh*t is the bottom line. I pay my bill, give me what I pay for.
-
hahaha, I loled hard
-
Definite win for someone willing to sue AT&T for breach of contract!! Anybody will to spend years pursuing this? Sure money for some lawyers... damn it.
-
time for verizon.
-
LMAO!!! I'm not in the Top 5%, so this doesn't affect me.
-
I'm not a havy data user, but whoever says att is right by robbing people in any way they're fuckin morons or att's employees, idiots , if u leak att's presidents ass anyway you will be treated just like anybody eals, no special treatmens for you ass leakers!!!
-
Verizon will follow this trend it's not about us it's about there bottom line .......

**** att we shold do a collect sue for tis fuckers cause we are pay for service we arent stealing apple shuld do some thing abouth this cause apple must care abouth iphone userss !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
wat if i decline to accept new terms and conditions would i be able to cancel my contract? if i cant then AT&T GET READY TO GET SUED. F**k YOU AT&T
-
A) Why don't you use a WiFi network as work if you are worried about it.B) I doubt audio streaming will get you anywhere close to the top 5%. It is the video streamers that are getting up there.
-
What new terms? They are still giving you unlimited data.
-
The top 5% are most likely the ones that have their phones tethered without an official overpriced AT&T tethering plan. If you use pdanet or some other tethering software, I think that's what will put you in this bracket.
-
Why dont everyone of you get a job or an education and learn how to spell before showing your ignorance. Have a nice day retards
-
i AGREE WITH HEM
-
ATT is smart, really! But others might end up being smart too.
-
AT&T stands behind it's unlimited data. They never said they have to give you unlimited data at a certain speed. So as long as it allows you to transmit or receive an "unlimited" amount of data at whatever speed, there is no case for a lawsuit.side note: I think they should leave the speed alone as well. But what can you do when they have you by the balls?
-
So has Att officially announced the amount of data that would qualify you in the five percent?
-
There wouldn't be a hard #. Depending on your usage compared to everyone else is what puts you in the top 5%.

Sounds like a way to slowly choke out the unlimited holdouts so they can do away with it entirely and thyself charge you more. Unlimited is just that unlimited should not be thottled at all that isn't unlimited. un·lim·it·ed/ˌənˈlimitid/Adjective 1. Not limited or restricted in terms of number, quantity, or extent. Looks to me they could be held legally accountable if they throttled anyone's Internet access that is paying for unlimited data usage without changing there agreement and thereby offering them the ability to end their contract without penalty. But we shall see.
