Apple Unveils iPhone 4S; World Phone With Faster A5 Chip, Siri, 8-MP Camera, Faster Download Speeds, HD Video Recording
After months of rumors and speculations, Apple unveiled their hotly anticipated fifth generation iPhone called iPhone 4S at the Let's Talk iPhone event earlier today.
As the name suggests, iPhone 4S is not a redesigned iPhone as many of us had hoped, it looks like iPhone 4 but comes with a number of new features and improvements.

Yeah, disappointed. I've been waiting with my 3Gs. This will be the second time I'll be the one drooling over someone's redesign next year. And when are they going to improve the speakers??? I mean, it should play it's 64 GB of music and video with out having to strain to hear it, but if you say-put headphones in-- then what about the speaker phone??? Who knows what reception you have- when you can't hear...huh?

Can someone please tell me why the he'll they're talking about better camera and showing a demo in the video on a flipping 'iphone4' and not 4S ???? Am I the only one that's actually clicked on to the fact that apple don't seem to ever get they're advertisement right ?

I have had the Siri app on my iPhone 4 for a little while now. I just launched it and got a message that seemed to say it would stop working on Oct. 15. Then I opened the app store and the app seems to have been removed. So the new Siri is only going to work on the new iPhone and the old Siri is getting shut down? That is total bullshit! Greedy Mofos. Honestly, I think only a small percentage of people will even use that feature.

Dont really understand why people would be upset just because the shape didn't change. The interior (which is kinda what makes the phone) is basically like the iphone 4 on steroids and the iphone 4 is a pretty awesome device in its own right. Interested to see how well the siri works in reality. Looks like i'll be a happy purchaser.

Apple typically doesn't reveal the RAM, we find out when it is disassembled. So we should be able to answer that question on October 14th.

Sorry but with all of my respect to Apple's philosophy and it's fanboys, I would not rely heavily on Siri in case I get the 4S iPhone. I mean think about it, the whole nation are going to walk on streets and talk to their phones like robots! ... People will look ridiculous! Man this is going to be hilarious!

I personally don't like the feel of a squared edge phone. Even my iTouch and iPod Classic feel great. My husband got the iPhone 4 and we fought over the 3Gs.

Piss off I really thought apple would of put out a bigger screen at lease if they wanted to keep the same body styal , i am disappoted on how this turn out I am a very loyal apple fan but this just force me to look for what I want, a bigger screen ,waiting all this time for what ? Same phone I will not up grade to that ,great piss off apple needs to catch up to the market I will switch to a different phone very disappoted ....
