Siri Not Working For Some iPhone 4S Users [Updated]

Siri, is a great secretary. She works fine for me.
-
My big concern is that Apple is going to use Siri updates to get jailbreakers to upgrade to the next level's. Everyone will want better integration and more features out of Siri. I have a feeling we're to be seeing a lot of updates in iOS because of updates in Siri. No never said Apple execs were stupid.

Still not working for me. Numerous reboots done. Sux.
-
You're lame
-
Should work on both.
-
Turn cellular data off then turn back on and it should work
-
Is this siri thingy works on wifi n 3g only ? Pls reply
-
It works over both 3G and Wi-Fi
-
And on 2g ?
-
I had problems once. I reset my network under iPhone settings and then everything worked fine with Siri.
-
I had disabled Siri then rebooted phone than enabled Siri and now it's fine. Geez I just got the phone and I didn't want to waste my money on problems.
-
Not working for I follow the steps.
-
I use my iphone on cellular data only (2g) so does this means that i wont be able to use siri at all ?
-
She occasionally won't connect. I just reboot and she usually comes back
-
You have to finish setting it up. It wants to know who you are. If this is still set to none, it won't connect.
-
Siri is still down for me. I tried the reboot but it did not work for me. Oct 16

How do you go into general>settings and disable Siri? When i go to general, all i can do is scroll down to the Siri app. I can't figure out how to disable it. The response i get is "Sorry, a problem occurred recieving response from the server."

Yeeeep!. Siri blows....... A hyped up P.O.S!!! Imo.......whats really pissing me off, i turn the damn thing off, and its switched back on..... COMON.........devteam. I wanna JB my 4S already....

Rebooting fixed mine

Siri was working fine for me yesterday and today but is having trouble connecting to the network tonight 10pm gmt. Nothing has changed my end and none of the 'so called' reset tips work, so I think it's safe to say that Apple are having teething troubles with their servers. I know it's not the phone itself cos I'm posting this from it.Oh P.S.Why are people referring to Siri as a she??When mines working its a male voice that responds !?!?!?
-
You are most likely using the united kingdom Siri. The US and Australia Siri are both female.
-
Mine after several reboots and siri off and ons, still nOt workin. Cell on off still not workin.
-
Remember, Siri is still just in beta and was never promised as a finished product (either at press conference or on Apple's website) so have a little patience and understanding. Apple could have not released it until next year, so maybe consider this early time a bonus. If you don't like Siri or are unhappy with it but can't wrap your mind around the fact that is "beta", simply turn it off in the settings.

Fully restored (backed up first) and now it is working. Crazy!

As I suspected nothing wrong with phone settings or local Siri at all. Got up this morning and Siri worked fine. I think the duagnosis is simple, if Siri starts giving network errors, simple check Safari, if you can get web page refreshed, you simply need to wait for the backend servers to come back online. Those claiming success after messing with resets etc are simply coincidental with service being resumed by Apple unless those people did indeed have local issues with their data access. For the record, if your not using Siri on wifi, I believe it only functions with a reasonable mobile data speed too!

THE REASON WHY SIRI STOPS WORKING BELOW MUST READ!!!Once you sync your iPhone to a computer siri stops working. I found out that if you restore your iPhone and don't sync it with your computer Siri will work. If you have iCloud on your computer you can put music on your phone wirelessly.
-
once you synced it did it work? my stopped working after i synced it so i restored mine and siri is now working for me
-
siri worked fine for the first few days. now she doesn't work and i have tried all fixes
-
SIRI was working great for me, even after syncing to my computer. I used it this morning at 7AM (pst) but I went to use it again at around 8AM, it can't connect to the network. (made me look dumb when I was showing SIRI off to my co-worker ). I tried all the resets and still nothing. Weird how it worked one second and the other it just stops working. Btw-I used SIRI both on wifi and 3G so I don't think it's limited to wifi only. Verizon iPhone 4S 16GB
