Okay, so I discovered a potential problem/benefit when upgrading to 5.0.1 for jailbreak users: It simply WILL NOT update OTA. At least not on my iPhone 4.What this means for me, at least, is that I cannot lose my jailbreak via any delta updates OTA like this. Which is awesome. But, conversely, it also means that I will continue to suffer from piss poor battery management.I suppose I have to pick the lesser of two evils...

The battery issue is still on my iPhone 4S. I have updated OTA. The usage timer does not stop even when in stand by mode.

WOW. Well I guess if you don't care about an untethered jailbreak then go ahead and update. Chronic Dev team said the only untethered JB will be out for iOS 5.0....NOT 5.0.1. You were warned but followed apples updated scheme. I'm waiting for the JB. Only thing I can say is enjoy your stocked iPhone!

The music volume is much lower.

total bullshits - iPhone 4 charge to 100% at 11.pm and morning 8. am is still 100% or 99%. iCloud only notice and mail. GPS off, 3G on, Wifi on. The problem is probably on operator side. When i was using roaming i had such a issue - 10 % less in stand by in 10 hours
