Guys, just jailbreak with b1. I tried b2, but it gave me a lot of problems, I even installed mobile substrate and it didn't work. I made a fresh OS installed twice, so I went back to the first version of redsn0w, and it is working fine. I'm gonna wait for final build of redsn0w.

MyWi 5.0.1 finally successfully installs with this version. Don't have to do a hard restart after using it too like on b1. Was also able to restore from a custom ipsw without iTunes errors. Thank you!

Hi i used the untethered jailbreak, and deactivated so i could use Sam to Wildcard Activate for FT and Imessage, now i can't get the phone activated and the Apple activation screen keeps blocking my Gevey Sim from activating, what should i do?

I was one the first guys to use the initial redsn0w realease. At first, everything seem OK until I started restoring from my backup. Since then I have restored my 3GS (old bootrom) at least four times. What was the problem? It just wouldn't boot after a restart due to freezes.The corona v1.0 fix, did not actually solve the problem. Using corona v1.0.3 didn't help either on old bootrom but did soled the problem on the 3GS with new bootrom.Hopefully, this new redsn0w version will help.Like always, I am grateful for the hard work and effort of the dev-team. Thanks guys ;-)

Anyone else having battery drain problems with this jb? No problems before the break and is now down to 30% of a full charge in just a couple hours after redsnow b2. Now 28% after writing this.

hacked my black iPhone 4 with no issue then i went to try to hack a white iPhone 4 and I'm running into with firmware issues on iTunes and redsn0w any else having this issue?

Always worth holding off a week before jailbreaking if you can. Always seems to be a few bugs after initial release. Not that I'm complaining!

One happy jailbreaker here! First of all thanks for all the hard work put into this! Its much appreciated. One thing however... I can't get Tomtom UK & Ireland V1.9 to run from ****. (Not sure if I'm able to talk about this here, but I do have the Europe app on my iPhone 4s from the App store) It just freezes at the black background with "tomtom" written across it as soon as you tap on it. I've tried different sources and still no go. All other apps however work perfect with no problem what so ever. Thanks in advance guys!

Agree. the worst jailbreak ever. I know that guys are working tirelessly to get this out and running, and fixing, but still cannot deny the fact that this is the most unreliable jailbreak up to date. There should be pilot testers before releasing to the public, so that these bugs can be detected early on prior. JUST SAYIN'.

LOL i only say that because i hacked 2 black iPhone 4's and i had no issue and now I'm trying to hack this white iphone4 and I'm getting know where. when i make the custom ipsw and i go to restore it with iTunes it tells me that the firmware is not any good. I'm on a 3.0.03 bb and I'm using the new redsn0w that was teased this morning, I'm also getting no identy fetched so if you have any solutions plz plz help!!

Tried Redns0w 0.9.10b3: Untethered iOS 5.0.1 Today, worked first time, yesterday 0.9.10b2 took several attempts and hours to sort afterwards, ditched that and tried again.As with all updates to iOS ...SOME OF YOUR APPS will not be compatible with 5.0.1 (Some not needed anymore)... TEST THEMRe-Install one by one, and test, yes I know you can use AptBackup but that also adds in the ones that cause hiccups. Yesterday I had Safari stop working, iTunes disconnecting during Backup and a bunch of conflicts. have an error when Cydia refresh the data. "GPG error:http://cydia.zodtd.com stable Release:The following signatures were invalid: BADSIGAA011AC171*BABDF ZodTTD I only success one app installation. try to install another app the device was put on safe mode after rebooted. reinstall MS also does not work. Without a working iBooks this JB is next to worthless for a large percentage of iPad users at the moment. Thanks for the hard work. I'll visit this once the bugs are worked out.

It certainly has nothing to do with the colour. iPhone 4 (black) = iPhone 4 (white) irrespective of the colour.STOP the discrimination ;-) Compliments of the season!

"no identity" error can easily be solved by selecting the corresponding ipsw file manually. As for the iTunes troubles, make sure your iPhone is in DFU by using redsn0w. All these options are available when you start redsn0w and click on extras. If you have done a clean custom ipsw, you should be fine. Remember no hactivation is possible with any of these releases.
