Both my iPad 2 and iPhone 4s on 5.0.1 are stuck at the 'beginning jailbreak' progress bar for bout 30 mins! Am I suppose to wait longer ?

Successful jailbreak on the 4s, had to use the troubleshoot 1 in order for it to work. Everything seems to be working fine for now.

hey guys, when ipad 2 reboot, ask me for unlock the screen and open absinthe but nothing happens here, I still get the white screen and nothing else. any suggestions?

same here – tried it six times now, but absinthe keeps crashing, and no jailbreak for me. already did a reboot of the iPad 2 and relaunched absinthe a few times, but no go... any suggestions? thanks in advance!

Try troubleshooting tip 1 mentioned above.If that doesn't work, disable the passcode on your iPad, rebooting your iPad and try the above guide from step 1.

this DOES NOT WORK. Ive restored iPad 2 twice. Cydia does not open it just flashes.Take this post down I advise until its working. You will save a lot of people from restoring their iPads.

To solve White screen on the absinthe app go to settings> network> vpn and turn it on. Mine rebooted just after without me having to open the app again.

Well, I had the same issue, but I restored my iPad and it worked like a charm. Just make a backup before.
