Hi, had the same problem! If you go to settings>general>usage>music then delete all your songs and re dl them from iTunes (for free) it works!!!Have to do it like that u can't delete them individual from musicSpread the word! This works for people who aren't subscribed to iTunes match, I'm not sure if it works for people who have subscribed ... So u will have to try

Did you figure anything out here? I'm having a problem with my music where it isn't playing the songs (seems to be for songs I downloaded on my ipad) and my playlists are fickle, not letting me edit or only edit sometimes.

This has to be the quickest JB I have ever done. It took me 10mins to JB my Ipad2 without any issues. But, I also would like to say that I did it right out of the box. The only app i had installed was atomic web browser and Hulu Plus. No music and or movies. After all was done, then two apps still worked afterwards. I have been JB breaking my Iphones since the beginning and have had my share of issues along the way but, this was simply the easiest and fastest! I still need to update my Iphone 4 to 5.01 and JB but, for now IM happy even at 4.2.6..

If you're stuck at the beginning of the Absinthe jailbreak for a while and progress bar hasn't moved in the last 20-30 mins. Well, here's an easy fix. Close Absinthe and slide to unlock your phone and go through all "setup options" until you get to the home screen of your iPhone (do not backup yet, just continue WITHOUT BACKING UP FOR NOW). Go to Settings and "Erase All Content and Settings". Now close iTunes on your computer when the device reboots and do not backup yet. Now slide to unlock your phone again and go through all the options until you get "Activating Phone" screen comes up. Wait for your phone to active (may take a couple minutes), then STOP. Don't click anything more on your iOS device.

Worked for me after a full restore, then run absinthe then run your back up.

today I jailbroke ipad2 in mass quantity i.e. 68 of them, it took me 4mins or less per pad to jailbreak with lion Os Works perfect guys, absolutely nothing to complaint about.

I had the same thing, iPad 2 5.0.1, windows pc. After JB the Messages icon was plain white, On my iPhone I didn't experience the problem.

After several times failures with Absinthe 0.4, I finally have done the jailbreak successfully on my ipad2. My OS is Win XP.I did reset the winsock from command prompt using netsh winsock reset and erased content and settings from the Settings.It took less than 5 minutes on fresh OS ipad 2.
