I have been on creating backup for more than an hour and my iphone is nearly full of space, its a 16gb. Is this normal? any idea's or tips, please thanks.

But after you jailbreak you phone, and "restore from backup" on itunes, does it get rid of Cydia?

For those still struggling, I documented a possible missed step in the next article's comments:Before executing the cinject-w command, delete your wifi profile. Also disable 3G, but leave wifi on (not connected to anything). I believe this will stop the ipad from contacting apple for executable signature verification.

thanks for the quick reply guy, still no luck from both comments tho :( .. when i type cinject.exe -i payloads/jailbreak.mobileconfig (after locating the cinject_0.4.3 folder) i have a popup saying cinject.exe has stopped working & i have to close program, then the error - Couldn't load C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\MobileDevice.dll\ shows on cmd - very frustrating!!

Ok, can't restore after jailbreak and 'erase all content and settings' and i have no service, it is just permanently searching.

still creating backup for -j payloads (phone was erased beforehand) any news on timing? think it is stuck...

I followed the instructions, toggled the VPN, and then my device restarted, but I don't see a Cydia app on my screen anywhere!

I got to step 9 and it's been 10 minutes. Should the command prompt have come back up by now?

when typing in the cinject -i payloads/jailbreak.mobileconfig i then come accros an error - cinject.exe - entry point not found. The procedure entry point xmlTextReaderConstName could not be located in the dynamic link library libxml2.dll.. ANY IDEAS!?!? Thanks in advance

cinject.exe -wHow long did this step take for you guys? It's been about 20 min now and the log is still scrolling.

If the scrolling pauses for a while then it's good enough to move to step 10.

i've erased all data and setting, I've got to the point where i toggle VPN on and it reboot's but it looks at if the command prompt has hung, is this expected?

shouldnt the last entry in cmd be Jan 21 08:44:46 iPhone jailbreak[195]: Installing filemover… i have to restore my phone again.

when i get to step 3 is stays "cinject.exe is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."

It opened with the cinject directory and i typed in "cd" now what?

Keep getting "Bad file descriptor Assertion failed (1266)" on step 8. It creates the backup but when it says restoring i get that error. Any solutions??

i've tried to jailbreak again, the last entry on cmd after reboot is "mDNSResponder[47] : D2DTerminate succeeded" Cydia has installed does

with the cmd still on, i just restarted the ipad, and typed in cinject.exe -j payloads. and it worked.

I installed it from windows computer, and now have the brown cydia icon on my phone. When I click on it, there is a brief flash as a web page starts to load then i'm back to the icon screen on my phone. If I double click the home button, cydia is running, but I can't get it to open for me. Anyone had this issue?
