    The most recent comment here is may 18....it's now july. Can anybody tell me if this is still working? I am in Israel with a locked iPhone 3Gs and have heard that if I do this it could make the GPS unusable. Does anybody know if doing this on a mac with Redsn0w will ruin any features of the device?

    I need help! it not only didnt work for me, but it froze my iphone. When i turn it on, i get a picture of a plug and the itunes logo (suggesting to connect) and the slide bar to emergency calls. The problem is i cant conect to itunes because itunes asks me to put my passcode in the iphone, which i cant.
