That was iOS 4. iOS 3 ended at 3.1.3. iOS 5 won't have much more updates before iOS 6 is announced. Maybe a few updates during the BETA's.

I know they have jailbreaks for the 3GS but I'm just saying the most current one that pod is working on doesn't support the 3GS or the touch 3G.

Hey, i have my 4s jailbroken with absinthe, could some one tell me how to save my shsh's before i update and then how to restore after, sorry if its obvious but havent updated before with a jb device.

Actually, you can save (dump) your SHSH blobs with iFaith Download it from iH8Sn0w.com. But, to restore and update, just go to iTunes, put your device into DFU mode, then click restore. You can use iREB on iFaith to get your device into DFU mode if you dont already know how. You should get the latest firmware for your device upon restore.

Battery consumption seems worse now that I've updated to 5.1.1 on the 4s. I know pod2g said his batt life got better on 5.1.1. I'm thinking it must be diff for each user. Be wary of updating people.
