sod next gen iphone or 4.0. would rather have a jailbroken 3.1.3 phone for the rest of my contract than wait for 4.0. cydia has pretty much all the OS 4.0 features already. -
This is absolutely refreshing and reassuring. We've waited long enough for a tool that UNLOCKS 3.1.3, and I think we can wait a few more days or weeks. Thanks a lot for such a detailed update.

Appreciate the info, at least we can see whats going on now. I think I will give upon JB phones now, and just stay with what I have. The dissapointment has been greater than that first thrill of seeing cydia on the screen!

well i have iphone 3g, not 3gs, and im on 3.1.3, and its jailbroken.. all you gotta do, is use the latest redsn0w, and for firmware, use the 3.1.2 firmware to jailbreak.. works flawlessly!

this sucks, 80% people need an unlock more than the JB, cuz without unl. we cant even use our phones, no matter what, and now you go announcing that we get a JB but no unlock, that is so sad, that thousands of people who buy an iphone now or in the next months will have to put it in a shelf as they wont be able to unlock it.

Furthermore there are numerous ways some iphones can be JB'en, so even a smaller percentage will be affected, as when it comes to unlocking, if you updated to 5.12 baseband, there is no way to downgrade or smth....
