Hi,
I had my shsh saved on Cydia. I just successfully downgraded my 3gs 3.1.3 on 5.12.01 (Old Bootrom) Its now 3.1.2 and obviously the baseband is still 5.12.01. I can jailbreak it with Blackra1n, I have full reception & I can make phone calls fine. The ‘3G’ logo is on the top bar yet I cant get the internet other than Wi-Fi. Is this supposed to be the end result or am I missing something. Is there something on Cydia that can rectify this.

You might need to type in your network provider's cellular data setting's etc manually?. Which nework are you with?
Have you tried re-setting network settings also?
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

I've jailbroken my iphone 3G 3.1.3 and tried to unlock it with blacksn0w.
Now the scrren is showing the PwagneTool Pineapple and I can't do a hardware reset anymore.
Any ideas, how I can reset my iphone?

I tried that not long after i posted and you were right on the money, that was it. I think I synced with itunes after the downgrade and it grabbed old/wrong network settings.

Just do a reboot, hold power and home button till it resets, then plug in USB and continue holding home button until it enters dfu mode, this may take a few tries, then oncephone is on restore screen hold power and home buttons till for ten seconds or until the screen flashes and your appl logo, pineapple, or whatever comes back up. Give it some time to reload, if this doesn't work, then do a shift restore in iTunes

Restore like normal, hold power and home buttons until screen flashes, release power button, continue holding home button till the iPhone enters dfu mode, then just do a reboot, hold down power and home till it flashes

Hello all I have a question because i just read at the top of the comment list that b said that he jalbroke his 3.1.3 3GS 12.11 baseband 3 months ago or had the phone for 3 mths... I bough my about 3 weeks ago on 3.1.3 12.11 base and i can't jailbreak for ****... I understand i can't unlock it but i would like to jailbreak the phone at least... Is this still possible guys?

jail break lets u use 3rd party apps like winter board to chang the backround and icons of your home screen....unlock lets you put in say a tmobile sim and use a iphone on tmobiles network...and now if u JB and have att sim you dont need to unlock....now if we can get that 3.1.3 jb out to all of us dumbasses that updated i would be fucking amazed...i check this and 3 more blogs for a hint of it comming out)(lol no life)

"i updated the new version from itunes 3.1.3(7E18) with baseband 05.12.01 on my 3gs iphone and i try to restore it again from itunes because my iphone was lock and i cannot use anymore. but now i have again another problem is that when i turn on my iphone i saw the usb connected with itunes and above the itunes there is a lock sign. stuck in emergency screen. i dont know how to fix it please i need your help." -
