sigh the only prob with this update will be to see if the devs that do jailbreak apps have updated their apps to 4.0 i have a lot of apps i paid for and i want them to work when it comes times to jailbreak ios4 and PkgBackup is the best app to have to restore your jb stuff

After updating to iTunes 9.2, I noticed that the iPhone image in the summary tab has been updated to show that its running iOS 4 (even though the software version says its iPhone OS 3.1.3).
If you look closely, you can see an icon of a Folder on the iPhone home screen.
Have you folks noticed it?

If you have already jailbroken your iPhone then there is no issue. It is fine to update to iTunes 9.2.

hi guys, just wanted to let everyone know that i have itunes 9.2 and i was able to jailbreak my iphone 3gs 3.1.3 with spirit. why does everyone say you cant jailbreak with 9.2?

If you are Jailbroken and using Categories, don't forget to take everything out of categories before upgrading! there are ways to get hidden apps back but it's easier to take them out first.

Multitasking on iPhone 3g and so on Is avalable for iPhone user'S hands, I'm ready to
get iPhone 4, even though someone that showed me the latest iPhone 4 and, what I notice was that video confering, chatting and calling feature, has some low resolution video, tempts to crop and, it is something that seriously worries me.
Thought that this upgrade was going to be the ultimate all times.
I like the flashing built in to capture images thru the darkness, what about background blur.
Hopefully, updates in sooner features will solve comom issues for imaging. -

I'll wait for the devs to release the jailbreak. This is so cool. I cant wait to see the 100 new features Apple claims that comes with iOS 4. Hey IphoneHacks, u should make a post listing all the new features, so that way people can see if upgrading's worth it

I am actually using a 3GS running on OS3.1.3 with an unlock phone. So is it safe for me to upgrade to iOS4 since I just wanted JB and not unlock. thanks~

the video quality is only VGA and the camera does blur out the background... it has since the 3gs. Its called auto focus
