I have iPhone 3GS/32gb NEW BOTROM updated ISO4.1 and never jailbreak before. is it possible to jailbreak it with sn0wbreeze 2.0.1 or 2.0.2 or any other jailbreak ?
dont know how to save SHSH files using ISO4.1. Thanks -

Hey guys I own an iPhone 3G and had updated to iOs 4.0 and was disappointed with the performance, but I upgraded t 4.1 with sn0wbreeze and it works GREAT!! Big improvement in respond time. sn0wbreze worked perfectly fine and I used 2.0.1 and it was good. Thanks alot guys I would donate but I'm a broke college kid but I'll look out for y'all when i get my degree. Also I'm noob to all this iphone hacks deal and it was not hard to jailbreak, ppl JUS FOLLOW DIRECTIONS and stop complaining.

you need to unlock it in cydia, add source repo666.ultrasn0w.com then install ultrasnow.

download iphone 4.1 official to pc, not your phone, then download sn0wbreeze 2.0.2, then browse for file and select the 4.1 ipsw and thats you.

yes, you need mobile substrate. to do this offline search google and look for a package called cyder2, this will help you install what you need if you have no access to wifi.

actually the 4.1 fixed all my issues from slow running of built in apps, reception issues, runs much smoother :) even with a hundred apps installed

Hi, i was that problem, install itunes 10, put the iphone in restore mode, holding home button conect it to pc and restore iphone with custom firmware (created with sn0wbreeze 2.0.2)

did you upgrade to 4.1 before jailbreaking with Snowbreeze? Was your Iphone jailbroken (using spirit or other..) already as the article above states? Could you please give us some steps. Thanks

iphone 3g 4.1 jailbreak and unlock by Sn0wbreeze 2.0.2, but youtube is not working and MMS no pic text.
I tried pushfix for youtube and entering data manually for MMS, but still not working -
phone was jailbroken on 4.0.1 via JailbreakMe. used Snowbreeze 2.0.2 to make the custom 4.1 firmware. went into cydia and added jbme2pwn as stated in the direction. after snowbreeze finished with the file, the new file will be called snowbreeze 4.1 or something like that on your desktop. put your phone into restore mode and use that new snowbreeze'd firmware to restore

OK I feel like writing a tutorial now. My 3GS old bootrom was already jailbroken with 4.0.1 firmware before I did this.
1. Make new firmware with Snowbreeze 2.0.2. (you'll need the original 4.1 firmware)
2. Install JBme2pwn in Cydia from this repo: http://repo.woowiz.net
3. After Snowbreeze finished making the new firmware, it'll most likely be on the desktop labeled, Snowbreeze 4.1 or something similar (forgot its exact name bc I'm on a Mac right now)
4. Use that file to restore your iphone (hold SHIFT and click "restore" in iTunes, but remember to put your phone into restore mode (turn off phone. hold home key, plug in USB, then you'll see the itunes logo) first before pressing restore.Tada!

i have iphone 3gs new bootrom used snowbreeze 2.0.2 with the latest version of itune. When i select the custom firmware that i have cooked, in prepration stage i get error 1600. i have used to different pcs but still same error. i assume that snowbreeze works for 3gs old boot but not new one. better wait for shatter. if anyone jailbroken new boot 3gs plz let me know.

What about this, I have 3gs 3.1.2, jailbroke it wit blackrain a while ago, then last week it froze, restored wit itunes and itunes updated to 4.1 automatically. Now can I use sowbreeze to rejailbreak?

Ans to my question is no, My 3gs, once jailbroken with blackrain many months ago, but a week ago it suddenly blacked out, only showed apple logo nothin more - I restored with itunes which forced OS update to 4.1 Now today I checkd and confirmed that my 3gs bootrom is -359.3(old), directly downloaded firmware 4.1, cooked it with snowbreeze, attempted restore and got error 1604. Any help is welcome please.
