Apple Releases iOS 5 For iPhone, iPad And iPod Touch

The wait seemed eternal but we are getting reports that Apple has finally started rolling out iOS 5 - its eagerly-awaited next generation mobile operating system.

Apple had given us sneak peak of iOS 5 at WWDC 2011 Keynote, which includes more than 200 features for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users such as revamped Notification system with Notification Center, iMessage, PC Free, Wi-Fi Sync, Newsstand, Reminders, deep Twitter integration and lots more.

Allright I'm restoring at the moment and iTunes started downloading iOS 5 ipsw file :)But, I tried to save SHSH blobs and my TinyUmbrella couldn't pull anything from Apple's server. I do have the SHSH blobs for 5.0 GM, maybe these are the same blobs and that's why I cannot download them? :/

LOL still stuck at 8 minutes it was 7 minutes before. I started the download at 10am time frame, and I think it was about 10:05 that I got through. I guess I'll play some WOW for the time being.

Really? When I choose Software Update it says Unable to Check for Update. An error occured while checking for a software update. Are you on the GM or did you just update today? I am on the GM...

Started downloading the update at exactly 18:01 here in UK. I have a pretty fast connection and it reached 450Mb of the 770 in about 5 minutes. Then it started trickling down at 1Kb a second for the last 30 minutes hehe. Not complaining just for your info. F :-)
