How To Jailbreak iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS Running iOS 5 Using Redsn0w [Updated]
Apple released iOS 5 few hours back, which includes more than 200 features for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users such as revamped Notification system with Notification Center, iMessage, PC Free, Wi-Fi Sync, Newsstand, Reminders, deep Twitter integration and lots more. As we reported earlier, it is is possible to jailbreak iOS 5 using Redsn0w and Sn0wbreeze.

so let me get something clear. every time the phone shuts down, restarts or crashes on me and i`ll have to boot it back up i`ll have to use Redsn0w and click (just boot) ?

Yes you will need to every time it restarts, or it will sit at the apple logo screen. At least that's what 4.3.5 does cos it is a tethered boot as well. I am yet to load iOS 5 so if I am wrong someone correct me.

When you do let us know how fast and stable it is on 3GS compared to iOS 4 please

Well, I did upgrade my Iphone 4 to IOS5 and jailbreak it just after. Everything fine at first try, buy I can not launch Cydia. It crashes. Since it is a tethered jailbreak I cant reboot to see if it is fixed that way so... now how to go on from here???

Wow people don't read do they, first check out the video, and quick answers: yes, you have to update phone to 5.0, then jailbreak as video says, yes you have to reboot with Redsn0w if you shut down your phone or reboot it hence tethered. I don't believe you have to reboot with Redsn0w if you just respiring your phone. And don't bother to update if you need your phone to stay unlocked. Also not all jailbreak apps and tweaks are compatible yet.

I still don't get something. I have an iPhone 3gs, factory unlocked, old bootroom. As I understand, it will be untethered jailbreak. Now I have 4.3.3 and it is jailbroken, so first I need to update to iOS 5 five normally, using iTunes, or what?

This is the list of the problem.Cydia - crush often.**** - crush whenever try to install apps from hackulo or iFunbox (need to comfirm again)Winterboard - doesn't support. Always fall into Safemode. i'll update list of the problem if found.

I can't upgrade. When I upgrade from my jailbroken phone to iOS 5 after I connect to itunes, itunes says it could not be upgraded and now the phone was dead, I restored it back to 4.3.3, but how in the world do I upgrade it to iOS 5, to jailbreak it? Unjail break my phone?
