I m on 4.3.5.....either have two options to downgrade ma phone to 4.3.3 n jailbreak it or to upgrade it to iOS 5 n then jailbreak it,as mentioned above...want everyone's verdict on what to do???

yep, it was part of the update to disable them, im trying to work around it right now but i think the easiest way is to go to gevey.com and get the supreme gevey sim chip for like 40 bucks or somethin but thats my last resort lol

I couldn't find the firmware file so I downloaded the correct one. I selected it as the IPSW file. How can I ensure that file replaces my current firmware file on my iphone once I jailbreak?

nevermind I realized I had to uncheck "hide hidden files" and was able to successfully jailbreak after. great video. thank you.

I have been trying to install Jailbreak (Cydia) for my i-phone using (ios5).I have used the redsn0w 0.9.9b6 and follow the instructions accordingly.Successfully installed Cydia (brown).But while I open this Cydia and get the Application from this Cydia, my phone was shut down and didn't restart i-phone application.All software had been missing out.I had encountered this problem 2 times.Now I am not dare to jailbreak for my IOS5.Please If you have any idea and best advice for Jailbreak method, may I have your best suggestion?Thanks.Myomint

Jailbroken iPhone 3gs running iOS 5 firmware, if I restart/turn off/ the phone it comes to use Redsnow 0.9.9b8 /just boot/ again otherwise all the programms stop working. Is there anything to fix it?

My iphone started out as a locked 5.0.1, baseband 5.16.05. I had to downgrade to iOS 4.1 in order to change my baseband to 6.15 to unlock the phone. I want to upgrade back to iOS 5.0. If I do, will my baseband get screwed up? And if I upgrade to 5.0, does anyone have a link that I can check out with guidelines on how to jailbreak 5.0 and unlock the phone again (as I'm suspecting it will get locked once I upgrade to 5.0)? Thanks, your help and advice is appreciated!

I have an iphone4 running iOS 5. I want to jailbreak it to take advantage of otherwise restricted apps. How do I do it? Would anyone be kind enough to post a step by step idiots guide.
