((Didn't mean to do in reply))I can’t upgrade. When I upgrade from my jailbroken phone to iOS 5 after I connect to itunes, itunes says it could not be upgraded and now the phone was dead, I restored it back to 4.3.3, but how in the world do I upgrade it to iOS 5, to jailbreak it? Unjail break my phone?

my phone keep crashing when trying to update to IOS 5.. right before going to the running pineapple screen.then stuck on the apple logo screen that refresh itself every minute or so. anyone know the reason.

How old is old-baseband? Which version of baseband do you need to have to get untethered jailbreak?

How long is it supposed to take because I seem to get stuck at “Please wait while your build is being processed” “waiting to reboot” on my iPad1.This is the second time I’m doing it and I get stuck at the same place again. The last time I had to recover from iTunes after it froze.

Same symptoms with Cydia. I am on 3gs old bootrom.Cydia keeps crashing if I press "Add" when I am trying to add Sources.Also crash again when I go to Search and tap at the inpur field

Looks like with iPad 2 and iPhone 4S it wont be easily to jailbreak.

ok i got a couple bugs to report. after jailbreaking ios 5 and installed call bar and 3g unrestrictor i found that the app store and itunes app would crash.cyntact almost works but no pictureafter restarting spring board after imstalling call bar found half the apps were blank icons. still would open app but blank icons. Hope this helps you guys. also to everyone who complains about not being untetherd and not working for you devices, SHUT UP. BE THANKFUL. these guys are great and it takes hours upon hours of just typing and running code

How old a baseband on 3GS is necessary for untethered? Mine is 05.15.04.

I still don’t get something. I have an iPhone 3gs, factory unlocked, old bootroom. As I understand, it will be untethered jailbreak. But it will be automatically or I should do something differently in jailbreak process?

You dont need to do anything special. If it is iPhone 3GS with old bootrom it will be untethered and if it is not is will be tethered.

Yes! first update, then use redsn0w to install cydia. Every time you reboot you need redsn0w to "just boot tether" or your device will "freeze" on the apple logo screen.

Try downloading the ipsw then upgrade holdin' down the shift key (windows) or alt key (mac)

whats your actual firmware version? is it jailbroken? tether or untether?

I am trying to jailbreak the iPhone4, but everytime it gets into "uploading first stage" process and the phone get frozen in white screeen. I did jailbreak many times, but this time it seem does not work at all.

it worked all fine just like in the video. so i downloaded some stuff at cydia and know after jailbreak to iOS 5 my iPhone is in "t safe mode" i don't know what to do?please help

The iphone4 could not be restored, this device isn't eligible for the requested build. This is the error that i get when i tried to upgrade to ios5. There is no error code to refer to. Any bright idea out there as to how to upgrade my jailbroken phone?

1) backup your device2) usin tinnyumbrella to start tss server, restore your device to the ios you have right now (in order to un jailbreak)3) try upgrade by downloading the ios5 and restore holding shift so you can browse to the ipsw you just downloaded (ios5)

i don't have any push notifications after the jailbreak can someone please give me a fix or tell me if they are experiencing the same problem.

My does the same. iPhone 4. Works fine with iOS 5 but after the jailbreak, the Cydia app icon is white and won't launch (opens and immidiately closes) and the same things happens with Safari. I have to restore it and remove the jailbreak. Any suggestions???
