Works fine for me... but reopening Cydia after a reboot it goes to like 1/4 the size in the right hand side of the screen. Any idea?

Hi Neo, I started the TSS Server and begin the restore my phone, and I have a failed message with error 1604. I tried another USB port and also reboot the system and the end result is the same. Not able to restore my phone and upgrade to iOS5. Any suggestions?

my old bootrom 3GS is on BB 05.15.04. - it's an unlocked Phones so I just need a jailbreak and iOS5 - do i have to do something with the Baseband or just update to the Redsn0w-made IPSW?

Redsnow asks me if the device is newer than week 45, mine is not which is good so i hit no, then back to jailbreak bu redsnow then says "the connected device dos not suport unteathered options Any idea how i can get IOS5??

My suggestion would be to not download jailbreak apps that require rebooting. BiteSMS isn't working with ios5 yet and neither is Winterboard. I just installed SbsSettings and Vibrafications for now, both seem to work just fine.

I had upgrade my iPhone 4 to IOS 5 but after i jailbreak it, the Cidia icon was white... I tried to reboot many times like you said it but the Cidia won't change to brown color.. please help me.. tx btw

I heard ultrasn0w now supports iOS5? And there's a new redsn0w out which creates custom IPWS? So is it safe for those who need to unlock their phones now to use redsn0w to jailbreak?

TO RESPRING, YOU MUST SELECT "JUST BOOT" IN REDSNOW. I JUST SPENT AN HOUR TRYING TO INSTALL SBSETTINGS, BUT THE ONLY WAY I COULD REBOOT IT IS TO JUST TURN THE DAMN THING OFF, DFU, AND "JUSTBOOT". ****

I have been trying to solve this problem for 3 and a half hours. I have jailbroken my phone many times before. I successfully jail broke ios5. Got the cydia problem. tried to "just boot" using the same ipsw i used before. goes through the process, shows the pineapple then shows the apple, makes the plug in sound, shows loading wheel, then repeats the apple, sound, wheel... over and over. Have already tried restore and re jail breaking and it failed. Any help would be awesome.

Horrible instructions in the video. The DFU mode doesn't wait to get the IPSW selected.

You have to select your IPSW file first THEN put it into DFU mode. That's not what the video says.

The jailbreaking process stock in "uploading second stage". No more from this point. I can't finish my jailbreaking, some suggestions?

I'm stuck in a boot loop now. Really poorly devised instructions. I'm not new to jail breaking, but I always review instructions before doing it. Not providing enough detail in the video, and even glossing over the need to set up the IPSW before going into DFU mode likely has created this problem.

Honestly, just forget it. Wait till the new red snow comes out for the ios 5, it will be much more worth it, and it will probably come out very soon.

i jailbroke my iphone 4 a few days ago but noticed when i do a tethered boot with out having my computer hooked to the internet it doesn't work. does redsn0w require internet to verify something everytime you go to tether boot? sometimes i am in an area without internet access.
