absinthe stops working right after it says "preparing Jailbreak". i get a windows error message, it tries to fix the problem but can't. help?

when i launch the jb after plugging in phone, progress gets to 1/4 way and a window pops up saying the absinthe program stop working. yes i run it as admin. any ideas?

Worked like a charm. Stopped first time on preparing for jailbreak. I gave it a good 15 mins with no luck. Killed the app and restarted the process. It worked like a charm second time. Thanks to the dream team! :)

Same here. With 2 phone 4S all I get is the absinthe app then when I push it the black screen is infinitely on. My iPad 2 worked perfect.

Can anyone tell me if there is anything wrong with iPhone 4s after jailbreaking. Like if any bugs present, Or slow downs, or battery issues.... Just anything out of the ordinary. Can someone please tell? O and why does VPN have to be on? What is it? Is it safe to have VPN on?

Hi all,I'd like to ask a question. I have an iPhone 4s bought in USA and I live in South Africa. I managed to activate it using an AT&T sim but whenever I put in a local sim it goes through the activation process again. Interestingly enough I can see I have got network bars so if i could go pass the activation screen I believe I'd be able to use it without issue. So my question is whether I can stop the activation process from starting after I put my local sim in or if there is a way to go pass the activation screen? My iPhone is jailbroken BTWThanks

Got it to work by downloading Absinthe from a link from Planetbeings twitter noticed it is a slightly larger file than the one from here done the trick for me

Does this unlock your iphone 4S or only jailbreaks it. I have done this and when i put another carrier SIM, I get this message: "only compatible sim cards from a supported carrier".

Doesn't work for me.Beginning jailbreak message shows, but nothing more happens.Waited for over an hour, repeated, exactly same thing happened 3 times in a row.Guess I'll wait for a newer version.
