When launching the absinthe program i get "ERROR: Consistency check failed: could not find required files"Think i did everything right so far.... Ideas?

Nevermind. got it to start, to the other guy with this problem>Extract the whole thing together, not copy the app like the step-by step discribes.Took about 5mins gonna have a play on this cydia now

When I run absinthe in windows it says plug in the iphone 4s then an ERROR message comes up saying ERROR: CONSISTENCY CHECK FAIL: COULD NOT FIND REQUIRED FILES... WTF?!?!? PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a problem, I download Absinthe and clicked the Jailbreak button. I have now absinthe on my springboard but when I open it, it takes 2-3 to load and then I have a green Jailbreak Button. When I click on the button it says thats it is impossible to open Absinthe. Even when I activate VPN (I get en error message) and retry with the green button, it still doesn't work. My iPhone doesn't reboot.I've 5.0.1.Thanks for Help !

evertyime i try to jailbreak it it says, looks like u attempted to apply a jailbreak and it failed, will try again. then it says recovery complete if u want to retry jailbreaking unplug your device and plug it back in... Ive done that and nothing

i downloaded absinthe but when i tap jail break its says cannot open absinthe the error was; the url cant be shown.can anybody help if so kjjackson13@gmail.com

WoW, that only took about 15 minutes total with a new 4S. The phone is not even 24 hours old yet and already jailbroken. Love this stuff. Kept up the super work, you are the best and a few bucks are already on the way.DoC

WARNING !Iphone 4s 5.0.1 ran absinthe-win-0.4and when finished, phone restarted twice then it was 5.1 :(I feel so bad never once did i press update or open itunes

Hi, I have a jailbroken iphone 4s, but its giving me problems and i want to restore to factory settings and do the jailbreak again. any tips? just wondering if i restore and i connect the phone to itunes would it auto update to 5.1? thanks!

I am having similar issue..please i need help.I have an iphone 4s bought from the USA and i live in South Africa.The phone is from Sprint and i still got the Sprint SIM card.Most times when i put my MTN SIM card it shows the network sign but within 2 seconds it brings up the activation prompt again,and so it goes on and on.There was actually a time where i was able to check my MTN account balance.So this shows it actually accessed the MTN Network.I have not jailbroken my phone yet and i dont know what to do now.Please what is the status of your phone now?And what advise can you give please..Thank everyone

Hi there,I have done according to the instruction of the absinthe-win-04 and, went through smoothly, how ever, since i have change the sim, requesting to Activate the new sim, "THE SIME CARD INSERTED IN THIS.... Only compatible SIM cards from a supported carrier may be used to actrive IPHONE. Please insert the SIM card that came with your iphone or visit a supported carriers store to receive a replacement sim card.Since i am out of the country (T-Mobile UK), impossible to activate my T-Mobile sim to activate, also weird, why should i need to activate my original carriers sim.Please, million tks for any support from you guys.Regards,
