I have tried jailbreaking my ipod4g a few times now, and everything seems to go smoothly but it doesn't show Cydia at all on my screen. Neither brown nor white, my home screen hasn't changed whatsoever. The only indication that I jailbreaked it is that I could toggle battery percentage on. Can anyone help?

Nevermind, guys. I found a brown Cydia app but when I try to launch it it just flickers then sticks to the home screen.. Now, what?

i have a ipod toch 4g, ios 5.1 and he said: no device detected. but i have my ipod off follow the staps, and he can't find him how is that possible?

Is my iPod supposed to go red with black stripes? I'm becoming to become worried. I can't restart it by pressing the power button or the home button.

tether jail break is every time the device reboot you have to connect to redsn0w and you have to do tether my device,and untetherd is you don't have to do anything,you can reboot your device as many time as you like, but if you don't know what is tether jailbreak is, don't jail break your device . so wait.OR you can mail me same time this week, maaz2010@hotmail.co.uk

just start redsn0w as a administrators;extras and just tether my device,remember go with DFU mode and is done.let me know

Redsnow people. Please Please Please Please Please. HELP!!!!!!!!! Everyone is having problems here, not just one or two peeps. The least you could do is answer us. I don't see any fixes that you've released to solve our headaches with this jailbreak. Like almost everyone, after the PWnage icon appears, the Cydia icon doesn't show up at all. In fact, the pod reboots to its original state (without safari, app store, and a few other apps). Tried the 'Just boot tethered right now' too and yet boots to its original state. What to do? If it does not work, tell us. We can accept that. But if there's a way around it, tell us that too.

Tethered means you must connect and use redsn0w (using the "just boot tethered" option) everytime you want to reboot the device. Its a cumbersome process but necessary if you want to keep your jailbreak. Untethered means that you can shut down and reboot your device normally without having to even connect it to your computer.

Whenever I attempt to download something from Cydia, I get a message that says "Cannot Comply Note: the requested modifications be applied due to required dependencies or conflicts that cannot be automatically found or fixed". please help!!!

OK , im having trouble. i put my ipod in DFU mode then when it reboots it say go to extras . and select IPSW. And when i do go to what do i do help??????????????

when i completed the jailbreak, the cydia icon appeared to be white and by this process my ipod touch 4g's safari is not working now ! Tell me how should I get this problem fixed ?
