1. first down firmware 5.1 to your computer save on your desk top first.2. download redsN0w 0.9.10b6 or 0.9.10b8a3. Click on Extra ( Selected IPSW ) Browser firmware 5.1 to you desktop lick ok and yes pop small window then click back button4. click on jailbreak let Redsn0w load firmware5. mark on CYDIA and do DFU MODE6 If you don't what is DFU MODE you can go to google search for it watch tube video will show you how to do DFU MODE.NOTE: Sometime Redsn0w has error please get patience to try it back againgood luck

Do You do jail break or not ??If you already installing jail break already..you must boot tethered back you safari will turn on back.

Holding power button and home button 30 second your Ipod will turn on backIf you guys doesn't know how to do it.Please don't do it will mess up your ipod ,iphone..Just let ur friend or somebody has experience to do it for you

Redsn0w 0.9.10b6... i already jailbreak my ipt4g FW 5.1cydia apps already installed.. question.. i bought ipeel520 2ndGen (ipodtouch converter) last Dec2011... i used it for a couple of months...but then, i cant use it anymore after i updated to 5.1... i already installed cydia apps (Messages & phone) but still not working... need help pls..thanks.. in advance

yeah thank you for the jailbreak, but after I solve the crashing cydia thing my music icon and the setup icon (dont know how its called in english) turn white, they still work, but its just ugly to seeps: sorry for my english im a french guy...

Hi,I just jailbreaked my iPod Touch 4G using the last version of Redsn0w and following the steps described in this article.My problem is that several Apple apps disappeared from my iPod: it's no more possible to find Mail, AppStore, Camera, Calendar... where are they?I already respring the iPod, but nothing solved.Actually I can't find these apps neither by means of Spotlight, so I think it's not just a problem of icons visualization, isn't it?Can you help me, please?

You need more space on your iPod/iPhone, just delete some stuff and you should be fine

I jailbroke my IPod touch 4g ios 5.1.1 no problem; my friend now wants to jailbreak her IPhone 4 ios 5.1.1 so i told her how to using this sites info. She did it and everything went fine until the very end. The Cydia icon won't show up AT ALL on her phone, i even had her "Just boot tethered now" and it didn't work. Anything we're doing wrong? I gave her step by step instrctions exactly how i jailbroke my ipod, the only thing thats different between us is that she has an iphone and i have an ipod... Please reply and tell me why its not working.oh and by the way, don't say she's my girl friend cause she's not, she is just a friend of mine...THANKS!Break Out Of Bonds

My ipod touch 4g is doing the same thing as a lot of other peoples. I jailbroke it, and cydia is installed on my itouch. But it wont work. So I turned off the ipod, went into redsn0w, and tried to just boot tethered. I've done this a few times now, and everything goes fine until the second time it says waiting for ipod touch 4g. And then its just stuck. I can cancel the whole thing and get back to my main screen on my ipod, but neither safari or cydia would work. I followed your instructions right, multiple times, and it seems that all its done is prevented me from getting on the internet. Can you please either tell me how to get past this or tell me how to just undo the whole process all together? This seems to be way more trouble than its worth, and I havent seen anyone actually provide a solution to this. I just downloaded redsn0w for the first time, even re-downloaded it AND itunes. Still having the exact same problems.
