can you help me guys? I cant go to DFU mode. i tried to do it manually but i'm stuck at the going to recovery mode step. Please help me i tried to jailbreak my phone several times and i have the right requirements but i'm stuck into going to dfu.

whilst trying to jailbreak my iphone it comes to the screen called browse for firmware and says firmware error string and wont let me do anything else. HELP -

I have been able to jailbreak my 3g however I am not able to use the call screen anymore, when I click on it it'll show up for 2-3 secs and disappear again. I can make calls via going through my phonebook but again it won't show the call screen.... Has anyone encountered the same problem? Would appreciate any advice, thanks.

Help i'm stuck in the recovery mode step. I don't go any further. I tried several times and still nothin. I'm running 2.2 5G77 so it should be running fine. Please help I really want to jailbreak and unlock my iPhone 3G

to every body with problem on jailbraking
my experience is the same as most of the guys out there tried to jailbrake thier iphone,...it stuck on the apple screen,
my advice to you is before using quickpawn...update your iphone to 2.2,even that it shows that your using v2.2 already.still update it.the link will help a lot.
now my iphone is jailbroken,

Does it not work for me ??? :OIt says "Firmware error string" just because it is not "5G77" and is 5H11 :s

This is my first time trying to do this. So I hold down the home button for 5 seconds and keep it held down for the next step. When I hold down the power button in conjunction with home, my iphone turns off after 6 seconds. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi, this is my first time trying this. When I hit the power button during the third step - after 6 seconds my phone turns off. I am definitely pressing down on the home button while doing this. I have tried it several times and I can't seem to get it to work!
What I am doing wrong :(?

im not sure which derections i should use to jailbreak my iphone 3g for my windows xp computer.
also jailbreaking the iphone gives you different games and apps right? -
I have reached step 8--- my iphone screen is white/blank and the quickpwn screen reads "wait while while your iphone is prepared for jailbreaking...
It has been in this status for a while "does it take this long?". Someone tell me if Im on the right track or should I try again.

i had a problem with mine, it was jailbroken and everything was working fine downloaded soem apps from cydia, but then my apps from teh apps store stopped working they jusy wouldnt load up i deleted them and reinstalled them but after awhiile they stopped working again, anyone know why or how i can fix this??

I bought an UNLOCKED iPhone 3G and updated it with with firmware version 2.2.1 (5H11) and modem firmware 02.30.03. If I jailbreak my phone using QuickPwn, will it still remain unlocked?

So I went a head and followed everything step by step and it seemed to have worked perfect!.....till I made a phone call. Seems that for some reason after the jail break the away from face function that re-activates the phone in call stopped working. The screen would not even light up regardless of buttons being pushed and the call could not be ended. There were periods where the screen would light briefly but would not be responsive to touch, so I'm restore to factory and hoping this settles the issue... unless someone has a suggestion?

I have bought iPhone yesterday from my friend. It is 5G77 and 02.28.00 and already activated. I tried to jailbreak the iPhone but unfortunately, I made a wrong process. I downloaded
iPhone1,2_2.2_5G77_Restore.ipsw
and tried to follow the procedure. Actually, I can skip to start at QuickPwn but I just hold SHIFT Key and restore my iPhone which was unnecessary....T_T
Now, it's not fine because it shows that I have to insert an UNLOCK SIM to activate the phone but I didn't have it. So, is there any suggestion for my issue?Thank you

hi i have an unlocked 3g with 2.1 software version and i want to install the 2.2.1 version do i use this guide? or do i have to install the the 2.2 version first?
