The only apple product i have owned are iphones and iphone always come with flaws.. I only get them because they are the easiest for my business life but now im thinking on switching to sprint and get the EVO

if evo didnt have issues with battery life, I would not even think it twice... only reason im thinking twince on iphone is for long battery life as im always on the go. who and why would switch to evo?

I can't believe Job's response to this. Now there is a guy who doesn't have to give a crap about pissing off his customers.
No matter what I do, I can't get my phone to lose signal like the ones in the videos. I must have gotten a good one.

Sitting right here, about 1km from the CBD in Sydney, the same issue with the 3GS, consistently. If I hold the phone in my left hand, the signal drops all the way down to nothing ("searching...") Even holding in the right hand, I lose 1-2 bars. (Voda AU)
It does seem to be poor electro-mechanical engineering (and guess what *I* do for a living... ;)

How mindless of person are you? Buying a case to protect the phone is one thing but having to buy a case just so your phone doesn't drop a call is ridiculous. This is supposed to be a phone to make calls. After paying so much for a "premium product" why should you have to pay extra for something on the side just so you can get it to work most of the time without already having to worry about Carrier serivce

I just love how the this post includes "supposed" antenna issues with other phones. How old is that Nokia phone by the way? Can you be anymore apple biased. It's a great phone but Steve Jobs really dropped the ball on this one especially with his "quick fix."
This is the iPhone we are talking about. The phone that is superior to the rest of the competition. Why even compare it to inferior products like Google or Nokia? (all sarcasm in case you couldn't tell)

Sooo glad i haven't parted with cash yet, maybe a Desire ain't so bad afterall, or even an N8 when it's released, they may have flaws, but Crapple have dropped a big bollock here, and Jobs reply is really quite shite.
Look at every Crapple advertising pic and the ppl in the ads are holding the fkn phone same as anyone else! -

F*ck!!! I just took off the case on my 3GS and held it in regular manner, went from 5 bars to zero...apple f*cked up bad, and it doesnt help being on an AT&T network...so it wasn't entirely AT&T fault...I love this phone but what pisses me off to pay so much money on product with this type of a major flaw!!! 1 or 2 bars I can live with but a total signal meltdown is just a big F U for Jobs!!!

Im stayin with my 3GS too. It may be a last year phone, but at least it works well.

lets not forget the ipad had wifi and over heating isues all apple products have issues time you lot woke up.anyway get a zagg full body kit that will stop your problem.
