I can only imagine there are over a million users who would like to sell their iPhones with 3.1.3 3GS. It doesn't matter if it's new bootrom or old you can't install firmware with any of the tools out there. Or can you? I tried and I have a 32GB Brick running 3.1.3 and a non-mc bootrom. So will you guys be able to release code that everyone and their brother and sister wants? Look the amount of people with 3.1.2 and older is slim in comparison to what Apple has been offering now for many months. Thanks

the thing that irritates me is that they made it seem that they had the iOS4 JB all figured out and now its pretty much not at all!!! oh well!! hopefully Jeohot makes something happen!!!

I have old Bootrom iPhone 3GS 3.1.3 JB'ed with Spirit.

I unlocked my phone with ultrasn0w and used Sn0wbreeze to install a custom iOS 4.0 and i recieve and get calls just fine, as well as texts messages.
HOWEVER when i go to general>Network> My cellular data just has a ON and OFF switch, i have no access to my APN settings........

n00b question, but how can I tell what boot rom?
I am running 3.12 (7D11) 3GS, jb with blackra1n.
model is MC138LL
I would like to go to iOS 4, then jailbreak for SBsettings, and winterboard eventually (categories, etc) -
What about us (MC 3GS's thats already jb with pwnagetool 3.15 running 3.12 ????

So i was on 3.1.2 Jailbroken and being a dumbass i upgraded by mistake to OS4 via tiunes. Can i downgrade back to os 3.1.2 jailbroken and then upgrade back to os4 JB or once the bootroom has been upgraded thats it?

I fixed the issue for my 3GS when the APN settings disappeared. I installed legacy to try and get pix messages on tmobile, I than took it off and my settings are back. So for my not having legacy installed via cydia did it for me. Now I gotta try and see if I can send and get pix messages.

or donations, just like any other "free" software out there. and everybody is right to say what's the deal with these jailbreaks.. iphonehacks was flooded with "new jailbreak confirmed to be working with new ios4" etc. before its release, "new boot roms should have been updated with this jailbreak because thats what they advertised too.

trying on my 3G, already jailbroken to 3.1.3 and unlocked. iTunes returns an error 1600 when trying to restore using the custom 4.0 ipsw file.
I tried to use iREB to avoid that error message, but I never get the expected white or red screen on my phone and iREB never crashes. Did I miss something? -
Also just to add, I don't think it matters that we have upgraded the baseband... It's the actual Jailbreak from spirit that is stopping us from using Snowbreeze.
