hey guys , sn0wbreeze 2.0.1 really worked on mine and i'm on baseband 5.11.07. but the only problem is the hacktivaton patch , once you install ultrasn0w , the different sim card detected error will appear , and you can’t patch it cuz hactivation patch is only available for 4.0.1 and below and so you’ll need to delete the lockdown folder with i-funbox and install the patched lockdown ............

Hey guys, I am having a bit of a problem. I have a 3G. I just jailbreaked it from sn0wbreeze and used ultrasn0w for unlock. Btw, I am on t-mobile network. The phone won't unlock. It says searching then says wait for activation and then shows 1 bar and doesnt show carrier logo. Does this mean the ultrasn0w unlock didn't work? Is the ultrasn0w unlock ver 1.1.1 i believe work with ios 4.1? Please let me know asap!

does anyone know if the Shatter will be unlocking those who got stuck on 5.14.02 baseband 6.4 bootloader? or is it just for the iphone 4 & ipad? im using a 3GS. thanks

Well so far so bad. Iphone 3G f0recast says I should be able to JB but not unlock. I'm not bothered about unlocking it's an unlocked device by default. I've got baseband 05.14.02 and have been JB'd on 4.0.2 using 05.14.02, so I can't see an issue with the baseband. However snowbreeze creates the modded ipsw and when I try to install it the phone gets stuck in Device F* Up mode. Every time I kick it out of DFU it re-boots straight back into it. Also Itunes keeps giving me a 1604 error during the restore. Gonna try another computer when I get the chance and see if that makes a diffrence. Gone back to 4.0.2 for the moment. Ho Hum!

Hey baseband is 5.14.02 and bootloader is 5.8!
I installed fuzzyband from cydia to downgrade the baseband to 5.13 but it says doesn't support iOS 4.1.

Put your Iphone into DFU mode not recover mode and restore. Google for instruction.

To all 3G owners,
It is really not worth to upgrade your 3G to iOS 4. Keep it at 3.1.2 or 3.1.3. There isn't much benefit at all. -
Google for instruction of downgrade to 3.1.2 firmware then you have it

doesnt work with me.. used ireb to install snowbreeze image.. but it updated my 3g like default ios4.. now my baseband is updated and unable to unlock it..

i accidently upgraded my 3g to 05.14 and no unlock available yet -
i dont think this baseband cant be unlocked yet ...i got the same problem ....i think the only thing you can do is wait until there is an unlock for..
i jailbroke it and tried ultras0w to unlock nothing happened ..and you cant get the network list... -
my iphone 3g is jailbreak with sn0wbreeze 2.0.1,now it ask to connect to itunes and activate sim..
my baseband is still 5.11
i dont have any at&t sim to activate -

u dnt have any choice
the firwmare can be downgraded incase u have ur SHSH blobs saved on Cydia, but in any case the baseband can't be downgraded -
Is this mean it cannot be jailbreak if you have 5.14.02?

Your phone is not dead. Just google for DFU mode instruction and try again. It may take few times, don't panic. You can try Recboot and hey google is the best friend for your success.

10. After removing the SIM switch off the iPhone with the dock connector plugged into your iPhone and PC and click Start on the DFU helper. Follow the prompts to enter DFU mode.
11. Once in DFU mode, open iTunes.
12. iTunes will prompt to perform a restore. Hold down the shift key and select Restore. Go to the desktop and select the
sn0wbreeze_iPhone_3G.ipsw and begin the restore.
13. The restore will complete and the iPhone will reboot. Keep the iPhone connected. It will then be hacktivated. Once hacktivation is complete, reinsert your SIM.
14. Perform your restore in iTunes.I hope this helps guys.

I'm sorry I'm new to this stuff..
I jailbroke my 3gs 4.0 using jailbreakme.com without any problem but now i accidentaly upgraded to 4.1.
Is this mean it cannot be jailbreak if I have Version 4.1 with a Modem Firmware of 5.14.02?
And how do I check the bootrom from my 3GS iOS4.1?
