No, baseband 05.14.02 cannot be unlocked currently. Dev Team might release a new version of Ultrasn0w after iOS 4.2 is release to unlock baseband 05.14.02. You need to wait for it.

Sn0wbreeze can only jailbreak your iPhone. Baseband 02.10.04 cannot be unlocked currently.

Sorry to burst your bubble but 10.1 iTunes is out, and your latest on site mentions from nov 12 as latest 9.0.1.8?
Thats a FULL cycle less and still a major update less than the current.
So no... yours isn't current, and even if it was before, it SHOULD have 10 at least... or 9.1.1 not 9.0.1.8 X_X

So it means that if I have a 3Gs that it was jailbreaked before by the "jailbreakme" method link but I after decided to update to 4.1 OS from Apple because after I jailbroke my 3Gs everything was working fine but ONLY the MMS were not working (by the way I'm with Rogers in Canada). So now that I upgrade my 3Gs back to normal phone with 4.1 OS, can I use this "Sn0wbreeze 2.1" to jailbreak my 3Gs back or better wait? And if Yes, can Sn0wbreeze 2.1 unlock my phone too? (not that is necessary right now to unlock it but just a question.

SO I have tmobile.. iphone 3GS 4.1 baseband 5.14.02. There isn't a way to Unlock it yet, right? This new sn0wbreeze won't help ultrasn0w unlock it?

I got a stupid question for anybody that can help.
Is there a way to download ios 4.1 with out installing it on my iphone?
Itunes used to give you an option to download without installing, I can seem to find that.

JB isn't the hard part anymore because to my understanding, apple can't patch the exploit Geo hot used in limera1n. So my guess jailbreaking can be used via same exploit 4.2 and beyond for the present hardware. What can be undone, or patched is the untether hack.
The only thing I'm really concerned about is the unlock for the iphone 4. I bought mine about a month ago and it came preinstalled with the lastest baseband. That, as far as I know is not unlockable. I'm hoping the dev team will find a hack for this latest baseband, as I would like the option to change over to T-mobile because At&t sucks.

not sure what i'm doing wrong. i've had no luck restoring my iphones with custom versions of 4.1. i keep getting either error 21 or 1600. i've tried from restore mode, dfu mode and the pwned dfu mode from snowbreeze and itunes always errors out. last time i did this i was attempting to use ireb and it just got stuck at one point and wouldn't continue on. current is a 3gs, 16mb. are there limitations on bootroms or something? i had no probs with 4.0 on my phones, but, 4.1 does not seem to like me at all. anyone else having similar issues?

am i supposed to have tiny umbrella running in the background or something? i notice itunes contacts apple to verify the software restore...just attempted to restore by holding home button and plugging phone in and tried restore and got error 21. wtf man.

ok. i just tried it with tiny umbrella server running and it still kicked back with error 21. this is a pre-jailbroken iphone using limera!n running 4.0.2 that is already JB/UL that i have SHSH's for 4.1 and 4.2b3.

ran across a possible solution for my own problem on apples forums. guy suggested creating new user account/reinstalling itunes and attempting then. i'll give this a shot and see if its related to my user profile on this xp box.
