used redsn0w without any problembe sure that do NOT pres sleep buton, first. you must pres sleep and home butons at the same time and then release sleep buton 10 secs. later and keep pressing home buton for more 15 secs.

Hey,Donno if anyone can help, but this is just wierd. I have had jailbroken iphones since the begining. A few nights ago, my iphone 4 began to lose a charge over night. That was on 4.1. I had not installed anything new via cydia in weeks. On Friday I missed school b/c my phone died overnight.Yesterday I went to apple (after performing a quick restore) and after much complaining, they gave me a brand new iphone. It came stock with 4.2. I jailbroke with greenpoison. I added 1 source, hackulo, and two tweeks (infinidock and infinifolders). Please keep in mind that I set this up as a new iphone and did not restore from a backup. My battery is depleting at an unfathomable rate. It cannot hold a charge over night (I sleep for 12 hours, but c'mon :)If anyone has any feedback, please respond, I would be eternally greatful if someone could tell me what the problem is.

2 questions..1) i bought a factory unlocked iphone 4 from apple. Will i lose the factory unlock during the jb process?2) i have 4.01 JB. I did a backup via itunes. If i update to 4.2.1 ... can i restore a backup and get all my apps back, installed and everything back in their folders or do i have to do that all over again manually?

i was succes by step by step from Greenpoison until"quit".... but my iPhone say "insert a valid SIM with no PIN lock to activate iPhone" can you help me???? in Indonesia I use "simPATI" SIM Card..

After a first jailbreak try, it failed on iPhone4... and after that i cannot connect to 3G network, the "3G" doesn't appear anymore, and also i noticed that "Internet Tethering" option is trying to activate or something, the little spinning star is going round and round forever.. I did a DFU restore and same problem, i even got the jailbreak right this time, but no 3G connection... PLEASE HELPplease help.

have been trying to JB my 3GS IOS 4.2.1 with greenpois0n for the past 2 days and always stuck at Quit(Restart to Retry). I even reset my phone as a new phone and still no luck. Any suggestion anyone?

Hi thanks for your reply, but how about you GPS.Do you have the same issues as most with ipad Baseband? No or very very slow gps rendering it a useless feature? I am the same as you, fixed the battery drain, but I still do not have GPS, which I want back, for driving, geocaching, bike riding, pedometer etc etc.It is a fantastcic feature...

Try switching off the passcode option. that can sometime make your iphone unable to JB.

when the iPhone reboots, it changes the apple logo into the greenpois0n skeleton-like logo. is there a way to revert this back to the original iPhone logo?please help. thanks.
