    ok so i just updated to 5.1 and jailbroke using redsn0w 0.9.10b6, and everytime i try to boot up (with it connected) it says "couldn't download required IPSW! Please check your internet connection. If your internet is working, you may need an updated version of redsn0w. Error with SHSH blobs!"idk what to do now ive tried multiple times and im not very tech savvy so im lost.Please help

    Hi,I upgraded my 3gs newer bootrom to 5.1 today and now it's stuck in restore mode loop.I've tried jailbreaking it but the jailbreak hangs on the black and white text with the full screen showing multiple lines of 'Please wait.....'Also, when trying to restore in itunes I get error code 40 or more recently error 3194.Please help.

    OK SO I KEEP HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM JOE DID, AND I KEEP GETTING THE SAME RESULT. I'VE TRIED SEVERAL DIFFERENT DOWNLOADS OF "R.S" AND IT ALWAYS CRASHES WHEN I GET 3 BARS ON THE KERNEL STAGE. I DID THE BLACK/WHITE FROZEN TIP AND THAT GOT ME TO "PATCHING FILES" THEN IT CRASHED. I'VE TRIED "IFAITH" AND IT TELLS ME NOT "ELIGABLE" SINCE MY 5.1 IS A STOCK UPDATE. "S.B." SAID ITS NOT FOR THE IPHONE 4 (CDMA) I USED UMBRELLA BUT I DON'T SEE ANY BUTTON FOR "APPLY CHANGES". AM I SUPPOSE TO JUST EXIT AND RE-START MY CPU? CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP I'VE SEEN TRYING SINCE THE NEW "IOS" WAS RELEASED. THANKS

    Hey, I'm having the same problem and I used redsn0w and used the boot tethered, cydia works fine as does everything else, just no safari. I tap the icon, the loading screen thing comes up, and then instantly dissapeares. Any help?

    Hi, I upgraded iso 5.1 to my iphone 4 and download redsnow 0.9.10b6b in my mac osx n performed jailbreak tethered. Somehow there is no Cydia but somehow the jailbreaked apps are workable. So , my question is, based on your comment, for deleting any apps entries pointing to Cydia, may I know how o check in myiphone if there is any remaining file / apps in my iPhone from Cydia ? PLEASE HELP !

    Download and open the latest version of TinyUmbrella (v.5.10.08). Start TSS SERVER on it before going through the jailbreaking process. Rejailbreak. Let me know How it work for you!

    Hi guys, I stupidly updated to 5.1 so I've followed the above instructions, two problems for me here:1: Open Redsn0w and get the message: 'Incomplete iTunes Libraries, Couldn't load Mobiledevice.dll'.2: While ignoring this message and carrying on, the latest version of Redsn0w will not recognise my phone in DFU mode whereas older versions do recognise it, however useless as 5.1 will not work with older versions.-- I've re-installed iTunes (latest version) twice and also downloaded a slightly older version to try.-- I've re-downloaded and re-installed Redsn0w twice however the same error message is coming up.-- Just need to mention, I have jailbroken before a few times, I'm not new to it and I know how it all works, I'm just having trouble getting past that said error message.Thanks in advance.

    Ihave updated my iphone 4 to 5.1, when i launch redsn0w 0.9.10b6, it shows an error "Incomplete iTunes Libraryand says that it is not compatible with A5 devicescould not load mobiledevice..dll"i have the dll in right place but what about the other errors

Ich habe 3 gs old botroom, und ich habe gestern abend ios 5.1 aktualisiet da nach,((( redsn0w_win_0.9.10b6 ))) JB durchgeführt, Super geklapt, auserdem ist auch untedhered,Zu erst war cydia Weiss , ich habe gestartet , es hat beim erste laden lange gedauert , nach dem laden wurde cydia auch braun geworden wie gewohnt , also ich sage viel spass für old botroom benutzer......

    So i recently. got an Iphone 3gs form Rogers ( canada) and i am with Fido (as a carrier)So i got an iphone Sim Card to go with my phone since they are my provider. I cracked the phone using Resnow and the phone has unlocked. However it says i have "No Service" Please help!TIA

    Hi. So I finally was able to jailbreak my iphone 4 but the only problem is that the cydia icon is white. I followed the directions for redsnow to boot just tethered right now but it gets to the part where its waiting for reboot and my phone reboots but redsnow seems to not notice it and then it just stays at the waiting for reboot till I have to cancel it. Please let me know what I can doThank you

    Hi,im afraid you have to restore your your device, in order to restore you have to hold down the power and home button together untill it shows the itunes logo, and then plug your device into the computer and then on itunes hit restore and update

    Hey guys..!..I am updating to ios 5.1. I tried updating to 5.0.1, but it was hard with itunes to upgrade to something which was not the latest update. Anyways, Now i have updated successfully, and its time for jailbreak. The 1st problem i face is that i cannat pass the activation screen. If i try to call the emergency number, the call drops. And second, I am unable to put my phone in DFU mode (though i have done it before many times). The redsnow doesnt recognize the phone, while itunes does.Help me out of this please..Thank you all..

    I just was able to jailbreak and unlock my iphone 3gs with the new bootroom a few weeks ago, but today I was getting "no service" and then I tried to reinstall ultrasnow and it just made it go to "searching." So I tried to re-jailbreak and now it gets stuck on the step where it is transferring control to jailbreak and the message is Error: no successful firmware download after 6000 ms!! Giving up...Please tell me how to fix this!

    please help.. i have a 3gs. its stuck in dfu mode and i dont know what to do. it wont turn on and i tunes wont restore it. it gives me an error message. all i wanted to do was jailbreak my phone so i could put my go phone sim card into it and now i screwed it all up

    Heya, Any reason why my Iphone 3gs running on ios 5.1 is jailbroken untethered? I can turn it off and on as I like without having to boot from redsnow. I don't have semi-tether installed either?
