Please help, when I go to jb my 4S, the bar loads 3/4 and then it pauses for like 5 mins then says starting to recover. After that the bar loads and then says that it has recovered successfully and that to try an jb again you need to unplug and plug the device in. Please help i've followed the instructions and have tried it twice but no result :(

iphone 4s 5.1.1 jailbroke in around 1 minute,easiest jailbreak to date and worked faultless thx dev team and pod2g am sure you have just made a few million ppl very happy :)

make sure lock screen code disabled and also sim PIN disabled

I've got an iPad 2 with iOS 5.1.1 (9B206), and I keep getting the error "Recovery completed. If you want to retry jailbreaking, unplug your device and plug it back in". I'm using the Windows version of Absinthe, any ideas?

Exactly the same issue. Followed instructions to the letter. One thing that wasn't mentioned in the read me was the need to reactivate the phone after erasing all content and settings. Is this something that everyone else encountered and if so how did you reactivate (I just set the language and skipped all of the other settings). The process starts and then gets stuck towards the end. I'm on an iphone 4 running the Windows version of Absinthe if that makes any difference?

Hy plz reply me i had purchased brnd new iphone 4s on ios 5.0.1 when i came bck to hme i accedantly updte it on ios 5.1 on tht day without jailbreak it & nw i wnt to jailbreak it on 5.1.1 i knw tht abstine 2.0 works only on ios 5.1.1 so i hv to upgrade my iphne to 5.1.1 can i jalbreak my iphne with abstine 2.0 & can i updte my basebnd there is no need to wait for releasing redsnow bcz u mnsn tht of ultrasnw unlck as i also said tht i purchsd my iphne brnd new factry unlckd? plz plz reply me i m waiting

DAFUQ!! i plugged it in, backed eveyrthing up on itunes and deleted all content. Then i went into Absinthe, and pressed Jailbreak button, and led it do all the work. Now it's finished, and it says: "Recovery completed. If you want to retry...BLAH BLAH BLAH". But i see no cydia among my apps! Dafuq?! I haven't had an iOS since iphone 3g, and now i have iPad 3. Where is cydia? have things changed?

Same issue here. Trying to JB iPad 3 Global via Windows.Get to the "Waiting for process to complete", It says there for a while then restores .I Reset settings, erased everything and dont have any sim/lock pins etc :(

I should have added I'm using an iPhone 4.I'm wondering if it is only the iPhone 4s that is working from the comments posted?

Back up phone, then do a full clean install of 5.1.1, dont sync to itunes after update, then try to run absinthe again. make sure no sim or lock screen pins are active.
