You guys must understand that they dont make this **** for you!! They do it for them selves at no cost and then decide to or not to release! Every situation is different they cannot cover them all! Best thing to do is buy an iphone unlocked or make your own JB/Unlock!

I am totally agree with you. Waiting almost almost 2 months 4 ultrasn0w to unlock 5.14.02 BB and only wish not getting any error and problems using new Redsn0w, i'd rather stay with my 3gs 4.1 then update to 4.2.1

Here is a good way to jailbreak your iphone with baseband 6.15.xx is download a custom firmware 4.2.1 with unlockable basebands. This is for all smart and idiot people.It should be released as soon as later tomorrow. Custom firmwares are on the way...

There are programs that you can dl that will tell you your iboot ver they require you to put the phone into DFU the MC/MB depends on the serial and applies to ipod touches I have an MC 3Gs but my 4th and 5th numbers in my serial number are 24. 24th week old boot ROM. I think above 40 and above are new! You can also check out Ih8Snows site and dl forcast

This isn't the old days anymore. Apple are making it more and more difficult to jailbreak and unlock, if you have been keeping up to date with iPhone Hacks or any other iPhone hacking website you would know that. Can you really call yourself a hacker? If your such a good hacker then it wont matter how many jail breaking programs are out. Did you graduate? Your English suggests that your didn't.Dont feel so sorry for us. You should be feeling sorry for yourself.

so i just want to be clear before i do this (the last thing i want to do is have to wait another 2 months or more for an unlock). i have a 3GS, old bootrom (MB), on 4.1 with 5.14.02 baseband. according to the dev team, i should update to apple's 4.2.1 through itunes and use redsn0w to update my baseband, then ultrasn0w will work for me. is this correct?

well, I have Iphone 3G baseband 05.14.02, i use to have 4.1 but now i downgrade it back to 3.1.2 and hoping it will also change the BB. and now what do i do??? i a, scared.

i have a 3gs os4.1 bb05.14.02 so basically my question is when do i update to 4.2? before or after i use redsn0w? cause it says to select the corresponding IPSW for my current firmware. do i point it to 4.2 while im still in 4.1? or to the ipad 3.2.2? sorry.. but thx ^_^

I just followed the instructions and now i have baseband 5.15.04 on my 3G and can't find a damn carrier. Thought this was supposed to unlock 5.15! WTF! I have windows so I can't update my baseband to 6.15.Now what!?

5.15 is bundled with 4.2.1 now you use Redsnow to update the bb to 6.15 and ultraslow to unlock
