totally worked on my iphone 4 baseband 4.11.08 ios 5.0.1 !! just had to find my carrier on which the iphone was purchased! using itool i found that it was telenor, denmark! but that was not available in the by country method. i found it in bundles option :) cheers

Tried by bundle with every sim id for Softbank and KDDI. iTunes can't activate sim.Need a little help guys.

Someone please post step by step how to do it on Sprint 4s, there is no option in country operator for Sprint, and bundle mode is not working

Please Please Help ! Many of iphone users don't have the sim card on which is it locked to. Please somebody help if you dont have that sim ( e.g phone is locked to tesco uk and do not have that sim ) what to do now where to get IMSI Number ? or should i plug in any sim from other network will help ? PLEAsE PLEASE HELPPPPPPPPPPP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

here from thailandiphone4 04.12.01 AT&T it work! using auto detect"By Country and Carrier" it not work for me, when use it i got "The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported" from itunesBTW ... Thank you !

People don't be fooled. This will not I repeat not work if you don't have original sim for phone. Their is alot of bogus info floating around the internet. It has been said on many sites that there is an error in the guide. You do in fact need original Sim for this to work.

Sprint iPhone 4 Unlock Instructions:You need the original Sprint SIM card for this!Perform steps 1-3 with installing SAM and all of that. Take out your sim card tray, and put in your DESIRED carrier. This will activate SIM card mode in the CDMA Sprint iPhone.Wait for about twenty seconds for it to be in sim mode.Take out sim card tray again, put in your sprint sim card.Go to SAM, under more information, select your IMSI and copy it!Only NOW do you take out your Sprint SIM card.Do the "unactivate" thing with SAM.Enable SAM, and go to Bundle Carrier Selection under method.Select United State, and then Sprint_US.Put in your desired SIM card, and then perform the spoof to sam function. Go back to where you selected method. It should have changed to manual without you doing anything.CHANGE the IMSI to the Sprint IMSI you copied earlier!Plug iPhone into iTunes. Quit iTunes. Restart iTunes. Take iPhone out. Quit iTunes.Go to SAM. Uncheck the "Enable" option. Plug iPhone into iTunes. In my case, it gave "Cannot be activated at this time." LEAVE THE PHONE PLUGGED IN. Hold the power button, power off, and turn it back on while plugged in. Voila! On reboot it should activate!

Why ?Can't someone who has the Sprint card tell what IMSI shows up on his/her phone and others use that ?I can't believe IMSI can't be re-used across all Sprint locked 4s phones, simply because different Sprint SIM cards work on a single Sprint locked 4S and in the reverse manner, a single Sprint card would work on different Sprint locked 4s phones too

With CDMA, you DO need the sim.

Hello guys ! I don't know what SIM ID I have to choose, I tried with every ID and I got the same message on iTunes something like "Your iPhone can't be activated" but it is at step 7 so I can't check if the Phone number is right... What should I do ?Thank you

Question: Why do i loose push notifications when i put back original sim? SAM says it's wildcard activated when i return to the original sim.

I cant seem to get SAM installed at all... When i try to install it i get ."Downloading Mobile Substrate Done: Mobile SubstrateDownloading ACUtilDone: ACUtilDownloading StockifyDone: StockifyPOSIX: Operation timed out.Downloading SAMDone: SAMPOSIX: Operation timed out."And SAM is not installed.... What do i do ?

This works just fine- THANKS--AT&T Iphone4 locked - I am in uk on t-mobile- Had it running using gevey with preserved baseband (only matters for gevey) Now running WITHOUT gevey on 5.0.1 and 04.10.01 Awsome!!Followed all instructions and got a result on my 3rd attempt-have now un-installed sam and re-booted phone and it gets a signal no problem without sam loaded-What a guy- THANKS--
