Hi.I've got an iPhone 4, currently on 5.0.1 AT&T, BB 04.10.01, and currently unlocked by a Gevey sim. Will this method work for me? I wanna be dead sure! and after this I will never need to use a Gevey sim again? :D Help will be much appreciated!

Guys,,it's activating Gavey sim inside... but it is not working without gavey.... my carrier is 04.10.01 ... plz help me by clear steps... it must need AT&T sim or any sim we can do....?

Works fine for me, but:In Settings, under General, About, show my network but not detect Carrier (say "Not Available"), then al setting from my sim to use internet, mms and vvm, are clear (vvm settings not present, only Cellular Data & MMS).How to force dettect my real carrier?Before, with a Gevey, my iPhone dettect the carrier as "Carrier Lab 8.0".I can put all data from my carrier on the settings, but vvm not present. :(

Will this work only one time? I was able to unlock mine with a t mobile sim but the time wasnt showing on the top dock so I reset the phone settings and I lost the unlock. Now everytime I put in my t mobile sim it says invalid sim and sim failure and in itunes it says no sim card is installed. I tried with sam many more times and I cant get it to unlock again.

i did all the steps and everything was good but when i connect my phone to itunes i get box written it: "The Sim card inserted in this iphone does not appear tp be supported."what can i do now??? please reply to my email: rami.lotfi@hotmail.comthank you

You should save the unlock ticket for future usage.

No, you will only need the SIM card you want to use on the iPhone. Let's say you want to use T-Mobile SIM Card, then put it there.

Yes, it works on any iPhone iOS 5.You won't need gevey anymore, but be sure to save the unlock ticket...

Yes I was going to after fixing the time but I didnt think the settings would mess up the unlock. Could the problem be that now the t mobile sim card is unusable since I unlocked it the first time?

If you bought it fromsmart, it should be smart locked so you need to put smart as carrier. Should work on your BB and ios version.from above "You don't need the original SIM, you just need to know what carrier it was for (to create an official looking IMSI)." -- you need to know which carrier your iphone was originally locked to.
